Being surrounded by many dogs comes with many losses. It is with sadness that I announce the passing of Arine. 13 years ago, Arine made the journey to Canada from Europe. Arine was a bouncy, lovable girl. She started her life here with my nana and papa at Brighthope but in the end found her forever home with my mom and dad. During her years with them, she spent many hours enjoying the flower beds with my mom and many car rides in the thunderbird. She never failed to remind us when it was treat time and happily danced while waiting. In her first moments in Canada she was welcomed by my dad and comforted by him in her final moments. She was a special girl to all of us but held a very special spot in dad’s heart. Arine, Thank you for showing us how to welcome each day with exuberance. You will be deeply missed ❤️

A special moment for the blues ✨Last Thursday, Brynlee “Brighthopes A New Hope” placed Group 3rd and Best puppy in group. Thank you to Judge, Shawn Bennett for recognizing this girl in a beautiful line up of sporting dogs.
While any group placement is special for our blues. This one in particular will be a memorable one. There is a lot of sentimental value behind this one, this is my first group placement as a Breeder/owner/handler. Brynlee is a daughter to my Lyle and a granddaughter to Nanas first blue, Ciron. Those that met Ciron, know how incredibly special and handsome he was.
From only a couple weeks of age, I knew Brynlee was going to be a special girl and she’s proved that everyday. We absolutely love this girl, she has such a bright future ahead. 🩵

How do bird dogs keep themselves sane post spay? Of course by giving lots of stink eye and finding the opportunity to point birds during leashed bathroom breaks. Atleast no movement is required pointing birds, right Josie? 😅
