E-Motion Veterinary Rehabilitation My name is Amanda Ahokas and I have been veterinarian for 18 years. I have completed my extra training as a Certified Companion Animal Rehabilitation Therapist.

Great video on the easily signs of arthritis. There is so much we can do if caught early on. In later stages the dog has already developed compensatory muscle patterns that need to be unwound. If we catch things early on we can prevent these patterns with focused exercises.

Doggle of the week!

Doggle of the week is Mini! We love her little tongue hanging out.

Mini had a very acute onset of some neck pain or cervical disk disease
The laser was able to give her some quick pain relief and she was already moving and feeling better within 24 hours.

MEET BOXER!!! Boxer came to us in April 4th 2025. He seems shy here but he is a LOVE!

His body condition score was 7/9 =overweight. He lacked definition in his waist and did not have much of a tuck.

Boxer did not have any health concerns so we worked on changing him to a weight loss food and daily fitness exercises to get his weight down and build back some muscle.

I was licked by a hedgehog. That’s a first for me !
