A message from one of our adopters
Last night we picked up our new rescue from Mexico, Betty named after my Mom. She’s a darling pup who I truly believe Chippy picked out for us to help us heal our broken hearts after losing him. Thank you Chippy, we love you forever my boy. ❤️🙏🐾🐶
It’s such a personal thing when you lose your dog, your heart is broken and like me, a lot of people say never again, the heartbreak is too much. Then Mindy/Betty showed up. I have to give a huge thank you to Debra Barsalou of Dog For Life and Teca Pet Animal Refugio who listened to all my craziness and helped me through the process. I also want to acknowledge all the people who took these three pups in, found in a bag, loved them, rehabilitated them, and showed them so much love and care. Cinthya, Michelle Soleil Wild, Michele Jarvis-Wonnacott, and all the volunteers who help out at Teca. Also a massive thank you to flight angel, Wende and husband who changed three families lives by bringing this family of pups home with them. Such a gift to give. ❤️🙏
Betty is adorable, she is incredibly sweet and I know my Mom would approve 100%, the biggest animal lover I ever knew and raised us all to love animals. Growing up, we didn’t have a lot, she was a single Mom with four kids but we always had pets…lots of pets. Dogs, cats, birds, a baby chicken, and even a Pacific tree toad named Bubbles. Many times they would just show up and move in, but a place was always made for them. I don’t know how she made it work but she did. Thanks Mom, for sharing your name with this adorable little girl. ❤️🙏
Finally, I know long post, are you still here, lol? I want to thank every last one of you that reached out and supported me through this grief over Chip, I will never ever forget you. You will always be cherished in my heart. ❤️🙏🙌
