Dog For Life Dog For Life Original rescues and finds homes in Canada for dogs from Puerto Vallarta .

Dog For Life is a very small non-profit rescue group who work and live in Puerto Vallarta and Victoria. Dog For Life differs from other, larger rescue groups in that we personally work with each dog in Mexico and are part of their entire journey from the shelter in Puerto Vallarta to their “furever” homes. We take great care in ensuring they are well and placed in the best possible homes. Last yea

r March 2020 when pandemic was hitting we started a feeding program to help the strays and also help feed to dogs whoes families could not even feed themselves let alone their dogs . Volunteers went into communities weekly supplying dog food for 7 months. Currently we are still filling feeding tubes daily to continue one year later to help feeding the dogs ..

This wonderful boy Simon has been adopted in Ontario and he wonderful parents are coming to PV mexico to pick him up and fly back Dec 6th to Winnipeg then they drive to Ontario.
We have space booked on the flight fof 2 more in cargo dogs if we have adoptions . This a great chance for us to get 2 more dogs adopted and need help sharing posts out that way . If you know anyone looking for please send them our way .

New arrivals at our shelter in mexico meet Whisper , 2 5 to 3 years less 2 kilos or 5 lbs. Roberto Ramirez Lazcano found her on the road when he was driving and almost hit her. She was posted and no one claimed her so we have her she is spayed vetted and ready for adoption nov when our flights start to victoria . She has had her teeth cleaned and a couple of extractions due to poor nutrition .Whisper loves to cuddle loves everyone and is good with dogs .
