I will always let pups use my body as positioning cushions. They can lean on me, sit on me, and rest their head or limbs on me whenever and wherever they need support during our sessions. 🤲🏼

Meet Forest. 🌳 He is now a massage pro, though he requires a brief ‘settling in period’ to transition from High-Alert Party Starter to Zen Master.

Once he’s in the zone, Forest enters a state of relaxation so profound that that he ends the session completely massage drunk. His post-massage reboot 💻 sequence involves a lot of blinking and wondering where his legs went.

If you’re looking for a therapist who can turn your dog into a puddle of blissful, unbothered happiness, I’m your human.

Self-care that doesn’t cost the Earth. 🌍✨

In honor of Earth Day, I’m sharing the bathroom staples that made it easy for me to go plastic-free. 🧼 It is surprisingly easy to swap out the plastic without sacrificing quality.

These products are:
✅ Effective (they actually work!)
✅ Gentle on your skin and the planet
✅ 100% Plastic-Free

Caring for yourself and the environment—including the beautiful spaces our pets love to explore—can happen simultaneously. 🐾

Drop a “🌱” if you’re trying to reduce your plastic use this year!

🐾💛 Can Dogs with Heart Murmurs Enjoy Bodywork? Yes, They Absolutely Can. 💛🐾

A heart murmur doesn’t mean your dog can’t enjoy bodywork— with your veterinarian’s approval, it simply means we tailor the session to safely support their comfort, circulation, and relaxation.

Dogs can develop murmurs at any age. Some dogs, especially seniors and small breeds, develop murmurs as part of normal aging. A murmur means a change can be heard in how blood flows through the heart. It doesn’t automatically mean disease or pain, and your veterinarian can assist with diagnosis, prognosis and treatment. Lots of dogs live long, happy lives with a heart murmur, and gentle bodywork can actually help them feel more comfortable day‑to‑day.

The work I do — massage, acupressure, nervous system, and lymphatic support — is calming, and always tailored to your dog. We avoid anything that would strain the heart and instead focus on deep relaxation, mobility, comfort, gentle lymphatic flow, and improved rest and recovery.

When a dog with a murmur relaxes, their whole system softens. Their breathing slows, their muscles release tension, and their body gets to rest. That parasympathetic “ahhh” moment is incredibly supportive for heart health and overall wellbeing.

I monitor your dog’s comfort throughout the session — their breathing, posture, and energy guide the pace. If they need a break, we pause. If they want lighter touch, we shift techniques. Their body leads, and I follow.

Dogs with heart murmurs still love touch, connection, and feeling good in their bodies. Bodywork gives them a safe space to unwind, support with any other issues, and enjoy gentle comfort.

A murmur doesn’t close doors — it simply invites us to be thoughtful. And with the right approach, your dog can absolutely enjoy the soothing, heart‑friendly benefits of bodywork.

🥔 And this little potato?
This is Mo. He arrived with a heart murmur and a family wondering if he’d be able to relax.
Mo’s response? “Hold my kibble.”😎
Heart murmur? Yes. 💛
Professional relaxer? Confirmed. ✅

😛 Tongue out = brain buffering

I thought I caught a rare goofy moment of gorgeous Tuck only to learn his mom has a ton of pics of this guy being hilarious.

I guess my real stroke of luck was catching his perfect, handsome, puppy smile in the second pic 😅

A week ago, Arthur underwent major surgery. 🏥 2 days later, this brave little man received Manual Lymphatic Drainage MLD to support his recovery and help him feel a bit more comfortable in his body.

Fast forward to this week’s massage and he’s already wondering why on earth he has another 2 weeks of crate rest ahead of him - because in his mind, he’s ready to get back to his regularly scheduled adventures 🏔️🌊🌲🐾🐦‍⬛

Arthur is young and very healthy and his body is doing a great job of healing right now. And his family created the dreamiest healing environment to help him along; they’re following the surgeon’s post-op instructions, feeding him a delectable whole-food diet, and giving him a beautifully calm, and comforting space to convalesce. Add in massage, MLD, gentle encouragement, and an abundance of love, and it’s no wonder Arthur is bouncing back so quickly.

Here’s to steady healing, and a very patient countdown to freedom for sweet Arthur.
