🎓🐾 Arlo Graduated! 🐾🎓

If you’ve been following along, you’ve probably noticed I’ve been posting a lot about Arlo—and for good reason!

When we first started, Arlo was a strong working dog who pulled on the leash, barked, jumped on people, and loved stealing anything he could get his paws on—from sweaters to kids’ stuffed animals. 😅

After lots of patience, consistency, and teamwork, I’m so proud to say that today we received several compliments on how calm and well-mannered he is.

Arlo now walks beautifully by my side, stays focused, and has come such a long way. Like all dogs, his learning journey never ends, but today is a milestone worth celebrating.

🎓 Arlo has officially graduated from Rehabilitation Walks to Standard Calm Dog Walks! This means longer, relaxed walks, lower costs for his amazing family, and happier walks.

Congratulations, Arlo! ❤️ And a huge thank you to your parents for staying consistent and trusting me to be part of your journey. I’m so proud of all of you!

🐾 Meet Gracie! 🐾

I’m so excited to introduce Gracie to the Brick & Bark pack. ❤️

This beautiful rescue girl was just adopted last week by a wonderful family of four with two young children, and she’s already proving what a gentle, kind-hearted soul she is.

Like many rescue dogs, Gracie is starting fresh. She’s quite shy around new dogs and people and came to me without knowing basic cues like sit, down, stay, or other foundation skills. But that’s okay—every dog deserves the chance to learn at their own pace. She is signed up for both training classes with her mom and private walks with me, her trainer, to ensure she builds her confidence and reliability while ensuring she’s stays the same happy girl.

She’s around 3 years old and possibly a Husky mix with Shepherd, Collie, or maybe a little of everything. Whatever her breed, she’s 100% lovable.

After just two training sessions, Gracie has already made incredible progress. Watching her confidence grow has been so rewarding, and I’m excited to continue helping her build the skills she needs to thrive alongside her amazing family.

Every rescue has a story. We can’t change the beginning, but together we can help write an incredible next chapter. ❤️

Hi! I'm Sharmeen, a certified dog trainer with 10+ years of hands-on experience with animals of all kinds—from dogs and horses to sea lions, penguins, camels, bison, Tibetan yaks, ring-tailed lemurs, and I’ve even done some farrier work along the way 🐕🐎🦭🐧

I’ve led group training classes at every level—puppy, beginner, intermediate, and advanced—as well as offering private, one-on-one training tailored to each dog and household. I’ve also completed canine first aid training through one of the most respected programs in the field.
