Oh I love days when I can open the coop for the ladies to enjoy the sunshine! I put all the roosters in the “Cock pit” pen so all the ladies can go outside without risking cross breeding and keeping my lines pure. They’re laying so well now, just waiting on fertility to go up and we will start filling hatching egg orders. Early bird prices are in effect until February 28th, 2023. 🐣🥰

Duke is such a stunning rooster. My son has a Blue Laced Red Wyandotte flock he is working with. They were imported from the Jerry Foley breeding program out of the USA in 2018-2019. Indoor pictures do not show his coloring very well, but he is rich mahogany red with slate blue lacing.

This flock was hatched the summer of 2021. Duke has 6 hens. 4 Blue, 1 Splash and 1 Black. Fertility has been 100%!

Our Canadian Bresse breeding group. This breed was developed over 500 years ago in the region of Bresse, France. These are excellent dual purpose birds. Laying 200-250 eggs per year. They flesh is fat marbled much like beef. They are natural foragers and the chicks hatch strong and swiftly. The colouring of large red combs and waddles, white plumage, and blue shanks represents the flag of France. They are considered the highest level of poultry in quality and flavour in France. Sold with shanks attached to prove they are Bresse.
