Dog Trainer Lea Professional Dog Behaviour Consultant From a young age I have been very interested and empathetic toward animals.

I wanted to know why they behave the way they do and how they process the world around them. My experience began with our first family dog, a Boxer (bully breed) with aggression issues toward other dogs and people. Many trainers and obedience classes did not seem to improve his temperament; he could not be in the same room as another dog and would bark at people walking by the house. Traditional a

pproaches seemed ineffective, and I began to experiment with approaches that went beyond “sit” and “stay”. Through this work I began to unravel the complex social structures inherent in canines and how their emotions influenced their worldview. Not only did my perspective change, but so did my Boxer’s and it became clear that this was a skill I wanted to grow in order to help others achieve the best relationship possible with their dogs.

I didn't start this work because I loved "well behaved" dogs. I started it because I loved the misunderstood ones.

The anxious ones. The barky ones. The shutdown, growly, overwhelmed ones. The ones that people so quickly give up on.

My work isn't about perfect obedience. It's about trust, safety, healing, and giving both dogs and their people a second chance.

Behavior support isn't just for the dogs, it's for the humans who love them doing their best every day. Showing up even when they're exhausted, frustrated and burnt out.
