Snowflake is adorable, unless you're a Cheez It box then all bets are off.

Umbrella Toos are incredibly intelligent, sensitive and somewhat needy. Always do your research and ensure that you can commit for decades to come.

When new feathers come in, they are encased in a keratin sheath. The bird preens the sheath off over time as the feather matures. Birds can’t preen the feathers on their own heads and necks, and it’s up to the bird’s flockmates to do it for them. Birds appreciate having their head and neck pin feathers preened, as demonstrated by Sapphire. Birds will lower their heads to provide access, and often stretch and turn this way and that, to make sure the preener gets all the good parts.

Sapphire is a chatty, friendly blue-fronted amazon parrot.

Adoption update!
Pancho was with us for about 2 years but finally met their dream person, it was love at first sight.

Pancho was a shy, quiet bird at the shelter but clearly has gotten over that!

Happy life Pancho!
