Update 🤍

I wanted to share a brief update with our community.

Last month, my brother in law passed away unexpectedly, & it has been a devastating loss for our family. Between the grief & everything that comes with it, I don't have the capacity I normally do.

My family & I are still grieving, & the holidays were especially heavy. I know I’m behind on some messages, emails & other things on my end & I truly appreciate the patience & understanding so many of you have already shown. Please know I haven’t been ignoring anyone 🙏 I’m just catching up at a slower pace than usual as we find our footing again.

I’m asking for a little grace & understanding over the next little while as we continue to grieve & recover from a very heavy season.

I am incredibly grateful for this community, for your kindness, your support & for trusting me with your dogs. It means more than I can put into words.

Thank you for being here,
Adrienne 🤍

🤩 LACOMBE PACK WALK TONIGHT 🤩

What are Pack Walks?
Pack Walks are a great way to accomplish the following things with the help of a professional trainer:

🐕 dog pulls on leash
🐕 is triggered when you walk by people/other dogs/skatebaords, ect.
🐕 you feel like you have no control while walking your dog
🐕 need to practice your leash skills
🐕 would like to expose your dog to new environments, new people & dogs in a controlled setting
🐕 need an excuse to spend more time with your dog
🐕 need an excuse to hangout with a friend & their dog

Pack Walks are a safe space. There is no judgment here. All dogs welcome. Taking your dog for a walk shouldn’t be stressful. Let us help you.

●What is Group Social?●
Group Social is a structured class designed to help dogs build confidence, improve social skills, & learn how to navigate group settings in a safe, controlled environment. Under the guidance of two professional trainers, dogs are gradually introduced to one another while the group maintains a calm, balanced energy.

●Benefits of Group Social●
- Builds confidence in unsure or nervous dogs
- Teaches appropriate social behavior
- Helps reduce reactivity by promoting neutrality
- Provides structured physical & mental stimulation
- Reinforces calmness & self-control in group settings

Not every dog is ready for Group Social, & that’s okay! Our goal is always safety, progress, & setting each dog up for success.

●How It Works●
**Please keep in mind that this is the short explanation of how a Group Social Class typically goes. Everything we do & why we do it always has a reason. Safety is always our number one priority.**

1. To start, we bring the energy down by walking some laps.

2. Two professional dog trainers pick 2 dogs (dogs they have matched, its not random) to socialize in the middle of the group while the rest of the group continues to walk around. We keep the group moving so there is no stagnant energy.

3. After socializing some dogs, it's time for a water break.

4. We do a few laps to balance out the pack.

5. We socialize the dogs for a 2nd time in the middle of the group again. Group keeps walking.

6. Time for a water break.

7. We do a few "cool down" laps to bring the energy down.

⚠️ Keep in mind, not every dog is social & THAT'S OK. This will NOT be for every dog.

●When Are They?●
Every Monday evening. All classes are from 7-8pm, cost is $20 & you must register as there are only 10 spots available per class by texting 403-741-4153.

Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions 🤗

Scent games are one of the best ways to work your dog. Especially when weather, energy levels, or life make long outings unrealistic.

They provide real mental exercise, build problem solving skills, increase confidence & help dogs regulate their nervous systems.

Under this blanket are multiple items, only one holds the target scent: wintergreen.

Ella’s job isn’t to guess. It’s to slow down, work methodically & stay engaged until she’s confident enough to call it.

No chaos. No over arousal. Just a dog using her brain the way it was designed to 😍

Stopped by a friend’s place for coffee. Their dog brought me a chew. We made eye contact. The position was assumed.

Sometimes dogs just need a stable, trustworthy human…to hold the other end of their coffee tree chewing stick 😂

🥂✨ Happy New Year! ✨🥂

A new year means fresh goals, fresh starts & a community we’re incredibly grateful for.

From myself (Adrienne), Madison & Chase, thank you to the dogs who challenged us, surprised us, & made us better trainers. To the owners who showed up, stayed curious, & kept going even when progress felt slow. That effort matters, and it’s what makes this community what it is.

This past year was built on consistency, trust & a lot of small steps forward. Not flashy. Not perfect. Just real work, done together, with dogs at the center of it all ❤️

We’re thankful to head into this next year surrounded by dogs & people who care, who try, & who believe in the process.

Here’s to another year of learning, progress & growing together.

Cheers 🥂

Tasks were concluded.
Effort occurred.
Expectations were met.

Whiskey has officially clocked out, packed one shirt, zero responsibilities, & is now pursuing a beach drink with questionable garnish.

This appearance was not scheduled.
This is not part of the program.
Consider it a bonus episode.

Please respect his absence. He will not be answering emails or questions on why he brought a suitcase this small 🤷‍♀️

Beach drink pending🍹

Whiskey On The Shelf will see you next year. Probably 😎

Cold outside.
Unbothered inside.

When the weather says “absolutely not”, we adapt.

Brandy & Whiskey getting their movement in the climate controlled way - steady, purposeful & very supervised. Because physical outlets don’t have to be epic to be effective. They just have to happen ❄️➡️🏃‍♂️🐾

Also: no dogs were forced to “walk" or "run”. This is calm, controlled movement - brains on, bodies moving.
