So little Mattie and Mitch are able to temporarily stay where they currently landed until their vet checkup Wednesday.
Once vaccinated, dewormed and determined healthy they can be moved to a foster home.
Mateen is doing his best to make them feel comfortable and introduce them to “Basic Kitten Charm School. They are starting to warm up and enjoy being safe.

Adelaide and Maple are acting like long lost buddies.
This has been one of the quickest settling in adjustments I have ever seen.
Adelaide was delighted to see Charles and Priscilla again. She gave sweet Maple a halfhearted fur p**f, then proceeded to make herself at home. Funny how they know.

Our poor old pallet jack is out of commission, and let’s just say: moving hundreds of pounds of dog food, crates, and clinic supplies with sheer willpower (and caffeine) isn’t exactly sustainable.

So if you have a spare pallet jack lying around — or you feel inspired to donate one to a very hardworking team — we’d be forever grateful (and a whole lot less sore). Heavy lifting is part of the job, but we’d love a little help.

“How many face licks are too many?”
Guess we will have to ask Charles.
During the first adoption meet and greet, Adelaide gave a full thumbs up on Charles and Priscilla with a full snuggy hug and a proper face grooming with kisses.
They are smitten. Addy has found the people that can give her the life she deserves. She will have a pet dog and two adoring humans.
