Valentino made his showring debut at the 2025 Wisconsin Fair. We are excited to announce that he was named the Junior and Grand Champion Stallion! We are looking forward to attending our next show at the Indiana State Fair (August 6th - 11th) with Valentino and his stablemates. As always, feel free to stop by our stalls to say hello!

We have been preparing for the upcoming show season, and we are looking forward to taking Ace on the road with us to the 2025 World Clydesdale Show in Springfield, IL this fall.
This homebred and raised 3-year-old stallion has done quite a bit of maturing over the last year and we are looking forward to exhibiting him.

We are thrilled to announce our new Imported Stallion, Thorpe Hill Avenger. He arrived to our program in January of this year (2025). Avenger has been doing very well since arriving, and has four of our mares confirmed in foal for 2026.
Avenger will be a part of our 2025 show string as our 2-year-old stallion. We are looking forward to watching this stallion grow and we are excited about his future in our program.

2025 Show Season is almost here!

Anderson Farms is excited to announce our 2025 Show Schedule for the Clydesdales. Listed below is the tentative schedule. We hope to see you at one of these shows, and as always, feel free to stop by our stalls to say hello!

July 29th - August 3rd

Indiana State Fair
August 6th - 11th

Iowa State Fair (National Clydesdale Show)

North American Clydesdale/Shire Fall Classic

World Clydesdale Show

We took some updated photos of Valentino yesterday. He is the first offspring of our homebred and raised stallion, Anderson's Aspen. We think that Valentino has a very bright future ahead of him.

Anderson Farms donated a Breeding for Anderson's Aspen at the 2025 National Clydesdale Sale auction. The proceeds for this auction item will be donated to the Classic Halter Series.

We are saddened to share that Ovation has passed away.

Ovation was our first Clydesdale foal born in to our program in 2013. Robert called David the day she was born and said, "This is the next World Champion, David". Low and behold, Ovation was indeed, the next World Champion, as a 2-year-old at the 2015 World Clydesdale Show.
Ovation had a dazzling show career, with multiple Champion titles, National titles, and All-American titles in addition to her 2015 World Championship. This mare had correct confirmation, beautiful movement, and a champion attitude.
Ovation transitioned well in to our breeding program and produced some very nice offspring. She was a very wonderful, attentive mother to her babies.
Two of her offspring include Anderson's Juliet and Anderson's Royale Ace. We have retained these two, to carry on her legacy. (Last two pictures attached).

Ovation definitely left her mark on our program and we feel very fortunate for the years that we got to have with her and we will miss her.
