We really need to get out there & get some brand spanking new poles! It would be so awesome to get a bunch of others needing poles to come out & harvest too. Definitely getting our poles this year 🤩👌🏽

PUBLIC NOTICE: Teepee Pole Harvesting at Castle Mountain

Oki Siksika Nation Members,

The Siksika Consultation Office is now accepting Teepee Pole Harvesting requests at Castle Mountain from Siksika Nation members.

Send your request to [email protected] and include the following information:
1. Contact person: Name and phone number
2. Date of harvest
3. Who will be receiving the poles that are being harvested?
4. Vehicle description being used to pick up the poles (make, model, and license plate number)
5. Number of Teepee Pole sets
6. Size of the group that will be assisting you

Once we have all your information, we will contact Parks Canada to finalize the details. We will get the necessary documentation you will require before going out and harvesting your teepee poles.

Today is Monique’s 46th Birthday!! She is catering today on her birthday but we’d like to wish her a Happy Birthday from all her Friends & Family. She spends a lot of time out there in the community doing so many things for a lot of people & animals. She certainly is the special lady in our family. Today is her day & we are spoiling her with tons of surprises!

Thank you Siksika! I am truly honoured & blessed to receive the “Woman In Action“ award today for Siksika Womans Day. The keynote speakers were amazing to hear, the youth were outstanding in presenting themselves, especially Little Miss Galaxy Canada 2025, Abigail Saunders.

Every so often we will feature a special dog. Today we’d like you all to meet Little Miss Leelu of the Crowfoot NTN’s. Leelu is a purebred Chihuahua, she is a small petite little lady. She turns 4 yrs old on June 1st, her favorite thing to do is go for rides with mom Chelsea Calf Robe. Leelu loves to dress up in her finest clothes & strut her stuff when she’s out on adventures, she knows getting dressed means she’s on her way to somewhere magical. This lil sweetheart loves to sing her heart out, cuddle with mom & do puzzle treats. Her human siblings treat her like a princess & love her to pieces. Leelu is an affectionate, happy & calm Chihuahua. Her wardrobe will amaze you!!! ❤️
