How I started to rescue cats

Hi Everyone, welcome to my page! My name is Tammy, I am happily married with 4 children, I have always done rescues as far back as when I was 7 yrs old :)

I was that child who brought home all the stray animals, my heart still is the same when I see an abandon animal. As much as I would love to save them all ,it is impossible. Over 2000 kittens are born outside every year in Kitchener, only less then half are rescued and the rest have to get ready for the cold winter, sadly most of these kittens dont make it through the winter due to no water, no food or just freezing to death. A lot of cats are being dumped in this city for whatever reason, they were once loved domestic cats and they have a really hard time surviving in the big world and preparing themselves for a cold winter that they never been through.

I want to save as many cats and kittens off the streets that I can. I have a huge support group at home! My family is my life! and cats ;)

I created this group so the cats that I rescue off the streets can find a forever homes and also cats that have been surrendered that will need a new home.
