Good morning everyone. Once again we are doing our yearly ditch cleanup with the M.D

We are in need of

VOLUNTEERS!!!!❤️❤️❤️

We do this to raise money to help those in need of pet food.
We will be doing this on May 11th. 2025 at 8:30 am. If you are able to help that would be amazing! Anyone wanting to help please call Debbie at 780-812-8348 . We have a couple volunteers but definitely need more. It usually only takes us a couple hours if we get at least 10-12 people.

A group of concerned residents are meeting with Cold Lake Mayor Craig Copeland on Tuesday morning to address issues with the city’s Animal Control Centre policies, after two local women said an animal was euthanized unnecessarily, particularly after being told it wouldn't be.

On Thursday we were gifted a very generous donation from the PAWSitive Dog Sports Association. I just want them to know how grateful we are for this gift. It will be used to help feed many animals in our community. Life is hard for many people these days but we hope to make a difference in some of those lives.Thank you to all involved in making this donation possible. And thank you to Michele Skorlatowski for delivering the donation. It takes a community to make this possible.

PLEASE HELP FEED HUNGRY PETS...

We are a non-profit organization that was started back in December 2016. It was started by Debbie Marcellus of Cold Lake with the help and support of family, friends and Alberta Lost Pet Locator and Rescue Society.Our goal was to help families that are in financial stress and unable to feed their pets. We supply pet food and supplies to these families that are in need until they are able to do this on their own again. It is meant to be a short term assistance for most unless there is a need otherwise. We exist with the generosity of a few that donate money and food so that we can give to those families. We want those pets to stay healthy and happy in their homes with their families and not get surrendered to a rescue or Humane Society or even worse abandoned on the streets.Our rescues are already over flowing with dogs and cats and are having a hard time financially themselves. We have even been able to help with vet care when it was needed. We do encourage people to get their pets neutered or spayed.
