Did you know that the tannins in some leaves have anti-microbial properties?

These dried catappa (or tropical almond) leaves will create almost a kind of tea in your aquarium that will keep your fish friends healthy. Leaf litter also promotes a healthy ecosystem, provides hiding places for smaller fish and allows for natural foraging behaviour.

If using for medicinal properties, be sure to turn filters off for a bit. This allows the tannins to build up in the water.

When I'm looking after your pets, their wellbeing is my top concern. Because of this, I will no longer be able to look after dogs for more than 3 days when their family is out of town.

Even with multiple visits per day, it is too hard on dogs to be alone. I am simply unable to provide the care and stimulation they require, and it is not fair to them.

Thank you for your understanding.
