With our bi-annual inventory count taking place on Monday, March 31, we ask that requests for medication refills and veterinary diets be called into the clinic by noon on Thursday, March 27 to help ensure products needed before April 1 are in stock.

These mild temperatures we have been experiencing are truly a treat, and it’s exciting to know spring is on the way!

The last 12 months have proven to all have days where ticks were found active in our area, and we are beginning to add many more tick active days to the calendar with the 14 day forecast. At our clinic alone, we diagnosed over 200 Lyme positive cases in 2024, some as recent as December.

Our seasonal pricing is now in effect for parasite prevention, and has been emailed to our clients. If you’re not sure what type of parasite prevention best suits your pet’s lifestyle, we encourage owners to use the Risk Assessment Tool that was included in the email.

Our patients mean so very much to us, and each day we reserve appointments in our schedule for urgent care requests. We understand that your four-legged companions don't always get into mischief or show you they are unwell at opportune times, and we are committed to allocating time in our schedule to be here when you need us the most!

We work hard to make schedule adjustments based on seasonal demand, and though we do our best to have adequate time allocated, our team will be here to direct you to an emergency clinic in the Ottawa area in the event we are at capacity or require 24-hour care and observation.
