Cats have a way of making every visit feel a little different, and this past week gave us a great mix of quiet observers, curious greeters, and everything in between.

A warm welcome to Eggplant, who quickly let us know he is very much a people cat. His 30-minute visits have included cuddles, check-ins, and a solid level of supervision from close by, just to make sure everything is up to standard.

Luna and Tuna got a little extra love over the holidays, with a longer visit on Christmas Day and shorter check-ins on the surrounding days. A perfect example of using our different cat visits how you see fit for your furbabies.

Sawyer, Ripley, and Tonks are a trio who made the most of their 45-minute visits. Three cats, one home, and just enough time to cover food, litter, enrichment, and the very important task of earning trust on their terms.

We are so glad to have met all of these cats and to be part of their weeks, even if some of them needed a few visits to decide how they felt about us.

So many new faces lately, and we could not be happier about it.

A big welcome to Odin, who is brand new to the world and to us. His family, however, is very familiar! We love a full-circle moment and cannot wait to watch this little guy grow up!

Rosie the Berner has jumped straight into a five-day-a-week, set-it-and-forget-it rhythm, and honestly, she understood the assignment immediately. Consistency, fresh air, smiles and one less thing for her people to think about.

Rosie the Basset is here for those weeks when her parents need an extra hand. Same name, very different Rosie vibe, and yes, we are officially in our double Rosie era.

A hello as well to Norman and Macaroni out in Sherwood Park. Different households, but lucky for us neighbouring areas. We are very happy to be spending more time out their way.

Ziko has joined us while his parents fine-tune what a great template looks like for him. We will help them land on something that fits their schedule and keeps Ziko feeling his best.

And Foxy. Her mom realized that adding an extra walk every other week would keep Foxy happier and free up a bit of time too. That is our favourite kind of win-win.

We are so glad to have all of these dogs joining our days. More routines that actually work for real life, more fresh air for some very good dogs, and a lot of appreciation for the families who trust us with them.

All jokes aside, Haven truly is a gift! Not only because she gives fantastic care to all of the fur friends and our team, but her help with our daily admin tasks has been a huge game changer for the rest of us on the admin team!

Outside of visits she’s designing pieces for her own fashion label, trying new recipes, lifting, and planning her next trip.

These will be available from January through March and give your dog a warm, safe enrichment based break on cold days.
