Hello all !!!
This is a hard but necessary post to make.
As you may notice we have not been taking in animals for quite a few years now, and it's time to talk about that.
We incorporated in 1998, and before and since we have spent our lives rescuing, rehabbing, hospice care, full time. Both of the main founders of HF burnt out badly from the amount of grief and stress that comes with running the type of rescue we do.
So, as most of our adoptees have now passed on or are very elderly, and most of our permanent residents are the same, it's time for us to close the rescue for good.
We will leave the page up for people to chat and share stories .. or even ask for advice.
