Happy 🤓 I am not a morning person and quite enjoy settling in to my day slowly - after the Bb crew have all been taken care of, of course! Carina and I are just enjoying some snuggle time while I enjoy my current read on my . Listen nothing beats holding a physical book but my e-reader certainly comes close. Plus I don’t end up with ripped and chewed pages - I’m looking at you bunnies. 😆 Do you like to read? Do you prefer a physical book, an e-reader or audiobooks? What are you reading right now? ♥️📖

For anyone who may be trying to evacuate Ukraine with their animals today here are some resources that may be able to offer some help during this devastating time. If you are trying to evacuate with small animals and don’t have a carrier, a tote, laundry basket, large purse etc will do. The biggest essential to try and bring with you is hay and water but in an emergency getting yourselves to a place of safety is the most important right now. Please know my heart is with the people of Ukraine and I am thinking of you all. Stay safe, stay well. 💖🐰

The animal protection association Casa lui Patrocle supports and offers help for families with pets who enter Romania from the Ukraine via the Sireten. To Ukrainian citizens who want to leave Ukraine with pet(s) and enter Germany due to the current situation: Please contact at Munich Airport for organisation. The team there does everything possible to get the people and their animals out of there.

Polish officials are now facilitating Ukrainian border crossing for families fleeing with their animals. The whole animal health dossier is now NOT mandatory. Animals will be vaccinated AFTER CROSSING Polish side of the border.

🇸🇰 (From the comments) Slovakia is also accepting refugees with their pets and relaxed necessities. The pets will need to go into a quarantine for 5 days, but the authorities are ready to help out, upon entry you need to fill out a document, that's it. Everything else will be taken care of

Oh hi everyone! It’s me Atticus. Overall I’m feeling much better. I’m up and about and eating and drinking on my own. I’ve gained a good amount of weight back and have been moved back to the pet room so I can be with Penny. Unfortunately Penny can be a little bossy so I’m still in my own pen but we do get lots of snuggle and snack time together. I’m still not using my front right foot but mom does see me trying to flip it the right way. If she puts it out for me I can put weight on it so we both hope I’ll be able to use it again at some point. I have lots of cushy cozy places to lounge and two sets of padded liners so it isn’t painful to walk around on. I still have another 10 days of panacur and mom has kept me on metacam to help with pain relief and inflammation, especially since I’m walking around with that foot bent and supporting myself on what would be your ankle or wrist. I was originally done my antibiotics five days ago but over the weekend mom and dad noticed I was getting pretty quiet and starting to stumble a bit more, then yesterday I was shaking my head a lot so both mom and the vet have decided to do another few weeks of treatment. Hopefully at the end of all of this I can go back to living a happy, normal life with my favourite wifey bun. Thanks for keeping us in your thoughts!! 💖

Oh hi! Yup we’re still around and doing just fine. Atticus has needed a lot of Mom’s time lately but thankfully Carina and I have one another when life gets a little busy! Hoppy Saturday! 💖

Y'all my little fighter is doing SO well! He's gained back most of his mobility with the exception of his one front paw. If I turn it the right way out though he has been able to put a little weight on it so I am hopeful he will regain at least some movement in it. He's eating and drinking on his own which means I can finally get some much needed rest during the night. He's up and active and happy to see us which makes me tear up each time I pop in to see him. He is still on metacam for pain and inflammation, antibiotics, p**p soup for probiotics and panacur but we're currently phasing out the cisapride and sub-q. He's also up a few hundred grams!! I will be setting up a slightly larger pen for him back in the bunny area so he can have a little more freedom and most importantly be able to interact with Penny. She's always been a humper 🤦‍♀️😝 and I don't want to add any extra stress while his body is recovering which is why I’m not ready to let them be together full time just yet. Thank you all for your continued love and support, it's truly helped during this very emotional, stressful and exhausting time. ♥️
