I wanted to say thank you.

Iโ€™m still a bit of a shy boy, so talking about my feelings is not exactly my specialtyโ€ฆ but Iโ€™m trying.

When I first showed up hurt and scared, I didnโ€™t really know if people were safe. My face hurt so much, and honestly, I was mostly just focused on surviving.

But then something very strange happened.

๐๐ž๐จ๐ฉ๐ฅ๐ž ๐œ๐š๐ซ๐ž๐ ๐š๐›๐จ๐ฎ๐ญ ๐ฆ๐ž.

Not just the nice woman who trapped me. Not just Pet Patrol. Lots and lots of people.

People Iโ€™ve never even met wanted to help me feel better.

And I donโ€™t really know how to explain itโ€ฆ but I think itโ€™s helping me learn that maybe humans arenโ€™t so scary after all.

My face feels so much better now. The awful pressure is gone, Iโ€™m eating well, getting lots of treats, and slowly starting to relax. I still act like a tough farm boy sometimes, but the people here say Iโ€™m softening up little by little.

Maybe theyโ€™re right.

Thank you for helping me get the care I needed. Thank you for making a scruffy outdoor boy feel important.

Iโ€™m still learning how to trustโ€ฆ but now I think I want to try. ๐Ÿ’™

Between yesterday and today, Pet Patrol has taken in ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ ๐œ๐š๐ญ๐ฌ from the same farm colony โ€” ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ‘ ๐ค๐ข๐ญ๐ญ๐ž๐ง๐ฌ ๐š๐ง๐ ๐Ÿ— ๐š๐๐ฎ๐ฅ๐ญ๐ฌ.

Many are under-socialized, several need veterinary care, and all of them need the basics: food, litter, vaccinations, spay/neuter surgeries, parasite treatment, and safe places to land while they begin their new lives. ๐Ÿฅบ

Rescues like this are only possible because of the support of our community. Every donation, no matter the size, helps us continue saying โ€œyesโ€ when cats need us most.

Dolly has settled beautifully into her forever home and has become the perfect mix of cuddly, playful, independent, and delightfully chaotic. Her family says everyone has formed such a strong bond with her โ€” especially their son, who absolutely adores her and refused to let anyone change her name because โ€œDolly was perfect for her.โ€ ๐Ÿฅน

This sweet girl is OBSESSED with her tunnel and cat tent, spends her days chasing wand toys, strings, and balls, and would happily play forever if allowed. She supervises showers from the toilet, tries to join in whenever possible, and firmly believes sinks are a required part of bathroom visits. ๐Ÿ˜‚

At night, she alternates between sleeping independently and curling up right on her momโ€™s pillow, sometimes waking her up with little face licks and playful pillow attacks. And every time someone comes home? Dolly comes trotting over with tiny little mews and snuggles to let them know just how much she missed them. ๐Ÿฅน
