Andrew is a certified dog trainer through the Animal Behaviour Collage and plenty of experience with all breeds of dogs through working with various shelters and his own rescue foster dogs. He believes in and practices positive reinforcement training. This method is treat and praise based and does not use fear or pa

in to train a dog. A dog should do a behaviour because they want to, not because they are afraid if they don't! Andrew will create a training plan that is tailored around your dogs unique needs. His goal is to create a fun and enjoyable experience for you and your dog. Further, he aims to not only produce well trained and happy dogs, but to reinforce the bond between owner and dog as well as to create a clear form of communication between the two. Andrew enjoys teaches basic obedience but he also loves helping dogs with behavioural issues. That is where he makes the most difference as helping families work through their dog's behavioural issues helps keeps dogs out of shelters and in their forever homes. Mallory handles the books and is the training centre's go to for dog nutritional advice! Andrew and Mallory are also certified in Pet First Aid through Walks n Wags

We are so excited to announce that Holly Ovington, KPA-CTP, CSAT has joined our Good Hound Training Team! Holly will be available for private sessions and will also be taking over our Reactive Dog Classes. Read on to get to know a little bit more about Holly!

Holly has been passionate about dogs from the get go! Holly was part of dog training clubs from a young age, learning to train and show her own dogs. Throughout high school she volunteered at a local vet clinic and the SPCA, then began working at a dog daycare and dog walking company. While she loves working with dogs one on one, it is the teamwork between dogs and their owners that Holly is really interested in, this drew her to dog training.
Working with Holly you will find understanding, empathy and ease in the process of working through your dog’s behaviour concerns. Holly’s goal is to help you understand your dog and why they do what they do. Training should be fun and manageable and Holly works closely with you to set both you and your dog up for success. She provides customized, realistic advice resulting in long lasting behaviour change so you can effectively fulfil your goals.
Holly started her own company, Positive Paws Training in 2019 in Vancouver, BC and is now joining the Good Hound team, since she has moved to Delta! Holly is certified with the Karen Pryor Academy, a Certified Separation Anxiety Trainer, a Fear-Free Certified Trainer, an Instructor for Dog Biz Dog Walking Academy, Walks N’ Wags First Aid Certified and has completed the Aggression in Dogs Course.

FREE beverages ( Water, my homemade Beef broth and Turkey broth) plus my special treats - no charge!!! I'll also have a custom canine sundae bar. For a Toonie, you get to choose from several topping for my banana peanut butter "ice cream" All sales go towards the Tollie fund! Enter your pups in the various dog games - I have yummy prizes for the winners of each game! Weather is gonna be perfect, so make a point of coming out to enjoy this awesome family day!

Happy belated birthday to our silly Yogi Bear! Yogi always bursts into daycare ready to PAWTY! While yogi is such a gentle and loving boy he’s got the funniest game faces that never fail to make us laugh. Yogi has such a wonderful personality that always brings great joy into the daycare space! We love you so much Yogi, it was an honour to celebrate you on your special day! Your furry friends loved the cookies you brought to share!

Everyone join us in wishing a very happy 7th birthday to Gus! 🎉
Fun fact: Gus is our handler Sarah’s pup, and he’s been a regular at daycare these past few months. Since joining us, he’s really come out of his shell, and his playful, goofy side has blossomed! Gus, you are such a silly and tolerant boy. We love watching you play with your little sister Bean and be the best big brother. Thank you for bringing yummy snacks for everyone on your special day❤️
