It's been a while since I posted! Bill is still loving his hugs. I can't even begin to express how much I miss you all, just remember I will be at the Cottam Fall Festival September 14th with a bunch of your farm friends! Remember this event is completely FREE to attend!

Huge thank you to Rotary Club of Cottam for making this event such a success! It was so good to see our friends from the community and be able to re-connect. The animals loved the attention, and it gave me so much joy to be able to provide this experience again. Thanks again to our friends at Trimble Farms Cattle Company Inc. And Cottam Candy for the help and support, we appreciate everything!

LAST DAY - Farm Supply Sale

We have some cages and animals still available to go! Mainly chicks, roosters and 2 male juliana pigs. Trio of bronze turkeys available.
2 upright freezers and one older chest freezer still available, as well as pork roasts and ground pork.

I'll be at the farm til noon today, still have chicks available, lots of roosters, pork meat, and various farm supplies, cages and equipment available for sale.

All playground equipment is available except combine and some of the tires.

Our Story

We bought a small house in 2017 that had a fairly large backyard. We never intended to raise any type of animal, but after visiting a friends house who had newly hatched ducklings, we decided to get a couple. Those couple ducks turned into more ducks, and we thought maybe a rabbit would be a good addition. That rabbit turned into more rabbits, and we figured why not add something else. After some research and talking with someone who raised quail, we decided to get a few quail. We started with 8... and they multiplied from there. After we got our quail, we ended up with some chicks that were on a good deal and eventually ended up buying a flock of 35 bantam chickens, including Old English Game Birds. Our animals are occupying a barn in Essex, while we are living in town. Our children help with the chores and our aim is to raise our children with good work ethics, compassion for animals, and integrity. Those characteristics are what our business is built on and our goal is to provide our customers with quality products, integrity, and fabulous customer service.
