Happy Friday everyone 🐾🦴🐶It’s been a while since we’ve posted to our social media so here’s a little photo dump drop of what has been up too! I have only been operating at a part time basis as I am still enjoying my time as a new mother 🥰

Our buddy the golden retriever Rocky has completed his puppy program and is graduating to start his novice obedience level 🎉🎊 congratulations to Rocky and his family for completing their program 💪

Our boy Randy in the second photo is from and is still looking for his fur ever home! He is just a year old and it such a good boy! Randy is ready to join a family that’s adventurous and has lots of love to offer. If you’re looking to rescue look no further than Randy. He’s a certified good boy ❤️

We don’t only train big dogs here at ! Sally the bisson Frisse is nearly completed her Novice obedience level training. Her owner has been dedicated to Sally’s success and it shows through her training 💪

Last but not least Betty and Winston are currently comepleting a personalized behaviour modification program with for leash reactivity and building both their handlers and puppos confidence! These guys have made leaps and bounds with their struggles and are half way through their programs 🐩❤️❤️❤️

It’s definitely been a busy start to summer and I truly admire everyone who recommends my services 🐾🐶🦴 There isn’t a day I take my career for granted!! I hope you’re all enjoying your Friday with your pups ###

We have been enjoying our training this winter and are excited to announce we will be moving outdoors for our Intermediate Obedience group classes as of April 22scd 💪 The new group class schedule has been posted to our chat! Now that I have been able to adjust to motherhood and getting my precious Girl into a good routine I am currently opening more time slots for day training! These spots will be LIMITED !!! When it comes to adopting an animal, senior animals often get overlooked; yet these seasoned companions can bring immense joy, love, and loyalty into your life. Today we're spotlighting one of our wonderful seniors - Chop.

Chop is a 13-year-old Malinois who is looking for a loving home to retire into. This sweet boy made it quite clear upon arrival he was not wanting to stick around in the shelter, and is currently in the wonderful care of one of our dedicated foster volunteers. His foster reports that Chop has been a great companion. He's been settling into the home setting well and will make someone a lovely addition to their family.

This is what makes my blood boil. Irresponsible dog owners that buy breeds they have NO BUSINESS OWNING. Who knows if these dogs were responsibly bred or not, that is a whole other conservation. Genetics and environment dictate behaviour… these dogs clearly have no training, rules, boundaries and sh*tty DOG OWNERS. People complain trainers are too expensive but if you could afford two of those dogs in the first place you can afford training…

A five year old boy was attacked over this. These dogs went for the face. He’s in critical condition at McMaster hospital. This is allegedly the 4th attack from these dogs… these owners deserve jail time and these dogs sadly euthanasia… Once a child’s been attacked that’s where the line is drawn. Rehab for these dogs will be out of the question and finding a home that will be willing to provide management and training for their entire lives are slim to none.

like I said owners like this deserve jail time…. It’s the same story over and over again.

Two pit bulls are on the loose and were last seen in the area of Lundy’s Lane and Beaverdams Road in Niagara Falls. The dogs are aggressive and have attacked one victim. Please report the dogs if they are seen.

Happy New Year 🥳 🐾 We have returned from maternity leave and are commencing operations with a soft open 🐾. Please note that our availability and services will be limited. We will be offering novice group classes beginning this February. Intermediate obedience group classes will resume this weekend. What a wonderful June we had here at !! 🤍🐾🐶

Working around the heat has been a challenge but we managed!! Our dog training programs are completed for the season and are anticipated to start back up in May of 2025 as my maternity has started ✨🐾🤍 Our pack walk adventures may or may not resume as of 2025. I am so happy to announce that for the second year in a row has won the Gold position for 🎉🎊👏 I am so grateful to all my clients for choosing quality training and for supporting my business. It’s been three years since opened. Hard to believe when I started in this industry at 15 years old working for a UKC registered English cocker spaniel breeder and kennel operator that I would have gotten to this point now at 30 years old. Two apprenticeships later, many seminars , diving into dog sports and having lots of persistence I’ve managed to build a successful business. I am eternally grateful for Gods blessing in giving me the opportunity to harness my dream of being a business owner but most importantly helping people and their dogs brigde the gap of communication 🐶🐾🦴!!!! Congratulations to all the winners and nominees! I think it’s safe to say we all work hard for what we have. In the dog training industry many of us paved our way perhaps similarly or differently however we all do it for the love of the dogs and helping people ❤️❤️❤️

What a beautiful long weekend we had here in Niagara ☀️ it’s safe to say the warm weather is here to stay! With that being said the Pack Walk program will continue for the month of June on select Tuesday and Fridays! June will be the last month of Pack Walks as my maternity leave will commence for mid July. Intermediate Obedience group classes will continue in June into Mid July !!! Current clients who are completing training under will have their lessons completed before I embark on my maternity leave 🍼🐶🐾🦴

‼️I am no longer taking on any NEW clients for training until I return from my maternity leave which is expected to be May 1rst 2025 🎊🎉‼️

If any current clients would like to book any refresher private lessons for obedience, ecollar training, recall etc I am taking on a select few before July 🐶🦴

I can’t believe it’s been three years has been open 🥹 I am so blessed to have such a supportive community of people and dogs as my clients. It’s been such a pleasure to do what I do and I can’t wait to be back full swing. I am currently updating my BIO and can’t wait to share all my years of experience with you all. While I’ll be on my maternity leave I have many seminars lined up In order to continue my education and keep my skills sharp for my return ❤️🦴‼️

Our training programs are filling up! Be sure to book in now before my maternity leave begins! My last bunch of training clients will begin between mid May until the end of may and there are a few spots left! To hold your spot dog training programs must be paid for at the time of booking. Pack walk programs will be on selective Tuesdays and Fridays starting next month due to appointments I am needing to schedule! I am so loooking forward to training adventures for this spring and summer ❤️ I will definitely miss my time spent training and working with all these wonderful people and their beloved K9s. While I’ll be off I have new content coming your way and webinars / seminars booked to enhance services here at 💪💪

If you pay attention to enough dog training posts and comments, you’ll notice an interesting thing...

There’s a disturbing lack of care, support, or concern for the human.

You’ll find a never ending supply of the above for the dog, but the human...nah, they must have somehow deserved what they got, or are getting. They’re painted as ignorant, lazy, and in some strange way, the enemy.

It’s deeply telling that the humans writing the posts and comments, find it almost impossible to actually care about other humans.

Who cares about the owner who’s been pulled to the ground, drug across the pavement, had muscles pulled, bones broken, fingers crushed, assorted puncture wounds and nasty gashes?

And this doesn’t even touch on the emotional fallout. Loads of stress, anxiety, fear are terribly commonplace. Having to rearrange your life to be able to walk your dog at a safe time. Not being able to safely have friends or family over. Romantic relationships getting caught in the crossfire. Hoping you don’t come home to a broken crate, and a destroyed house.

Yep, I’m a dog lover. But I’m also a human lover. That’s why I train the way I do, and why I recommend the tools I do. I want the best for both species. If training is going to work, it needs to work. It needs to be straightforward enough, simple enough, and replicable enough...for regular, everyday owners. Owners who aren’t trainers, and who don’t have 10 hours a day to devote to working some incredibly intricate and nuanced training.

Too many trainers continue to focus on the dogs, the art, and themselves. And while there’s nothing wrong with being artful and deeply thoughtful about the training process, if it’s not something your clients can or will duplicate, it’s simply a waste of time, and an exercise in self-indulgence.

The true art, the true nuance, and the true magic of great training is figuring out how to make something that IS complex and nuanced, as simple as possible. Not dumb, not unfair, not crude, but simple and replicable.

If trainers can make a shift and learn to see the human as at least as important as the dog, and at least as deserving of empathy and care and kindness, they might just find a new focus on their methods, and their tool choices. They might just find themselves realizing that owners who are happy and comfortable with their dogs, tend to keep their dogs. They tend to enjoy their dogs. They tend to give their dogs much better lives.

And if dogs are your passion, then perhaps when you realize they only thrive when cared for properly, you might leave the fancy, the complex, the ego-fueled lingo, mindset, and techniques at the door, and instead find what actually works for those who’ve asked for their help.

And maybe even do it with kindness and care. Just a thought.
