𝙀𝙭𝙘𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙣𝙚𝙬𝙨 𝙖𝙩 𝙎𝙝𝙚𝙂𝙧𝙤𝙤𝙢𝙨! 🍎

I am thrilled to share that this fall, I’ll be joining Conestoga College’s Animal Care faculty team as a Professor. This brand new program and state of the art facility will offer Veterinary Assistant, Veterinary Technician and of course Pet Grooming.

Over the past couple of months I’ve been honoured to help with the development of the curriculums I’ll be teaching and taking courses to prepare myself for this new chapter.

Am I excited, yes. Am I terrified, also yes! But that’s ok, everything we want is on the other side of fear. Now that my grooming business is full of wonderful clients and booking almost a year in advance, you could say I was ready for another venture.

Please know this will not take away from SheGrooms will be teaching on my days off and the college has been incredibly accommodating to keep my business a priority.

I’ve always been passionate about educating people on responsible pet ownership, leadership and creating positive communities. What better way to start than at the grass roots of a new program.

I’m excited to see the growth and development of the upcoming professionals in the animal care field. We need them now more than ever! 🐾
