Sometimes I think it’s a little confusing when people ask for Chiro, Massage, Bemer PEMF, osteopath, accuscope, acupuncture or any other type of therapy.
Though they are all very useful and a type of therapy, they are all very different.
I do infact have an osteopath, acupuncturist, etc on top of what I can do for my horses.
Something I am a firm believer in, is that you need them all to have a high functioning performance horse.
After chiro, (bones in complete alignment) there is now less restrictions for blood flow to the muscles. At this point I will then massage, not only does it feel good for a horse but at this time it’s actually improving blowout flow and circulation to the muscles since the bones are not causing soreness by restricting the muscles.
After the massage I will use the bemer to continue to help blood flow, circulation, reduces swelling, inflammation or break up scar tissue.
Now that the body is actually functioning properly enough to help itself this is the time to utilize cell regeneration and healing.
The first video is taken after chiro, the 2nd is taken after massage and bemer.
