Pupsicles for the Hot dogs. Use those mushy berries that you don’t want to eat, or a little banana. You can also use cooked green veggies. Mix in magic bullet or blender or just pour the kefir in the tray and add fruit / veg with a spoon. 🙌🏼

The good news is we’ve been spending more time with mom these days. The bad news is, she doesn’t come home with all those great doggie smells anymore and we haven’t found any hidden snacks in her pockets either 🙁

Sometimes my clients might feel slightly offended when I tell them their dogs are overweight 😊 This is a good example of a dog that is the right weight. If you look at your dog from the top down you should see their waist. Extra weight is hard on their joints. Here’s some things you can do if your dog is over weight: cut back food by 5% per week until you start to see results. MEASURE!! All of my dogs food is weighed and measured. Use a scale or measuring cups. Break treats in half or quarters, they will still be happy, they don’t care what size they are! Pick a whole food treat instead of a high carb treat . My dogs love cucumber slices, small bits of fruit and cheese. Dried beef lung, dried chicken. If you need any further help reach out to me

Puppies are SO MUCH fun, but a lot of work too!! 9 hours is too long to leave a puppy alone, they need human interaction, (stimulation) play time and a potty break.
