Meet Ryley ♥️
Many of you have seen my involvement in trapping the dog that's been loose between Tofield and Ryley. I have been asked a lot to make an update about how she's doing ♥️ .
I just want to put it out there that I never wanted to bring my business into it. It was never about my business it was always about Ryley. This is just far easier to share with places ♥️
Before I let everyone know how shes doing, there are a few people I'd like to say thank you for, for all the help they were in this.
Thank you to Beaver County Bylaw for helping all the way. Even going as far as paying for her quills to be removed. A special thanks to "Mitch" for helping with any questions and being there. He is truly an amazing person
Hastings lake Animal Hospital for promptly taking Ryley In to remove quills and keeping her overnight to make sure she's ok. When I picked up Ryley, I truly felt they cared so much about her. The care she received there was amazing.
Country Lane Pet Boarding for allowing us to come and go as we please. Making the kennel "home base" for all our stuff. And allowing us to shower there 🤣 very important.
Thank you to every single member of the public who helped in one way or another. From Facebook messages, calls, and people letting us put a trap on their property. And for not chasing her but letting us know. Without you guys, this would've never been possible.
Last but DEFINITELY not least. Thank you, darlene, for coming to help Ryley. Without K9 Recovery Service, this wouldn't have been possible. Thank you for everything you do.
Now to Ryley. Ryley is doing phenomenal. After a few days to decompress, she has started to show little bits of her personality. She is one of the sweetest dogs I've met.
She is very skinny. She is on a special diet to help get her back on her feet. And she's been enjoying that thoroughly. She knows commands ( sit and shake forsure!) . She likes other dogs (at least mine). Her favorite things so far are walks and truck rides. Going as far as when we walk past my truck, she plants her butt and won't move 🤣.
Ryley was very lucky she was caught. When she made the trip to Tofield, she was 4.5 km away from her area. So 9 km round route. She is still sleeping lots( I dont blame her). But it makes me happy that she feels safe enough to do so.
Welcome to your new life, Ryley ♥️♥️
