Thank you Tim!

This cheque represents more than just a successful real estate sale—it represents partnership, compassion, and the kind of change we can create together.

Thanks to my wonderful clients, I had the honour of donating $90 to Lily’s Place Animal Sanctuary, a registered charity I co-founded that provides care to aging, injured, and displaced farm animals.
One of those animals is, Rosie. Rosie came to us in rough shape. She had lost her back feet to frostbite, as well as her ears. She also spent so much time laying down to stay warm that the tendons in the front kegs constricted and she couldn’t straighten her legs. With a lot of love, care, and attention, this little fighter was able to stand again with the help of the volunteers at Lily’s Place. Now she runs and jumps just like the other sheep.

Now imagine this: if each of my followers donated just $90 to a charity they care about this month, we’d collectively give $20,430 to good causes. That kind of impact could change so many lives—for animals, people, or communities in need.

When the time comes to buy or sell real estate, I’d love to partner with you to make a difference, together!

📚 “Class” was in session this morning 😉

Our executive director took some time to teach volunteer Sophia and summer students Judas and Jessica how to do a basic health check on our chickens—today’s focus: feet!

We’re lucky to have such kind, capable people here who are eager to learn and not afraid to get hands-on. They each took turns treating any issues we found to ensure they didn’t become major health concerns for our feathered friends.

It’s a joy to provide care to the residents everyday but it’s an especially good day with so many smart, capable people are ready to learn and lend a hand.

Update from summer student, Jessica 👇

Bea, curious to see who was coming in, ran over to the gate to say hi. 🐐
She gave me a quick greeting, then went right back to her business.

We have so many people to thank for an amazing day!

Thank you to Oromocto and Area SPCA and MART - Maritime Animal Response Team for allowing us the opportunity to join in on your wonderful event!

Thank you to Paw & Order for the interview and kind words!

It was also lovely to see Woof It Up Dog Training and Separation Anxiety (one of our calendar sponsors) today at the wetlands in Oromocto.

Thank you to Lesley Thomas for her generous donation of all the food for our plant-based bbq that raised $581.60! 🤩

Thank you to Lisa Ley and her friend who donated all the water, plates, and napkins.

Thank you to our volunteers Robyn, Erik, Payton, Michelle, Natalie, Della, and Tim for spending their Sat setting up/running the bbq and booth.

Thank you everyone who stopped by to chat, donate, or purchase some merch.

The day was a great success including meeting lots of new people, making some great contacts, and furthering partnerships.

Shearing day update from Jessica (summer student) 👇

Yesterday, Jamie, Judas and I sheared Penelope, June and Gracie! Of course they showed me the ropes and I had to learn quickly! Everything went well and now we have 3 freshly trimmed sheep strutting their new looks.

Fun fact: Penelope (in the pictures below) is actually calmer when she’s tummy up! Most of the time we shear the sheep while they’re standing but some sheep are more skittish and nervous than others. Penelope for example, doesn’t know quite what to think about the shears going under her hind legs and armpits so she may try to swiftly jump out of our grips as a reaction. This way, when we safely flip her around onto her bottom, she calms down and realizes there’s not another option and she’s just fine! 🐑❤️
