It’s Vet Tech Appreciation Month!

Meet vet tech, Molly Stewart!

Molly lives in Glenwilliam with her boyfriend, Jacob,and their two cats, Binx and Rocket. She graduated from the Veterinary Technician program at Dal AC in May 2021 and joined the MVC family full time. Her special interests include clinical pathology, radiology and large animal medicine.

Meet the most recent edition to our Vet Tech crew, Lexie McKinnon!

Lexie spent two summers with us as a student before joining our team as a veterinary technician when she graduated this summer. She hails from Souris where she has three dogs, Kermit, Dexter and Lola. Lexie can be found in both the Montague and Souris clinics. She enjoys being a vet tech because it means turning her love for animals into a career that actually makes an impact!

Meet our new Vet Assistant, Kelly Campbell! Pictured here with Gio!

Kelly hails from Milton, Ontario, but has strong family connections to PEI. She recently gradated from UPEI with her Bachelor of Science and is interested in pursuing a career in veterinary medicine. She loves all animals and cannot decide decide if she prefers large animals or small animals!

When she is not at the clinic, Kelly can be found at the hockey rink or doing something outdoors. Kelly is also a twin!

Meet our Veterinary Technician, Tamara Acorn-MacDonald!

Tamara graduated from the Veterinary Technician Program at Dal AC in May 2022. She joined the MVC/SVC family in November of 2022. She splits her time between the Souris and Montague Clinics. Her special interests include Clinical Pathology and Client Education. Thanks Tamara!
