It’s BBQ season

Are you looking for an easy side to go with your grilled meat and fresh garden salad?

I’ve got ya covered!

These crispy oven Potatoes are amazing, definitely, a family favourite that is on our table more than once each week.

It’s such a versatile recipe.

Great with potatoes but also tasty with so many different veggies. Try it with:
Potatoes
Sweet potatoes
Broccoli
Cauliflower
Brussels sprouts
Beets
Carrots
Cabbage
Zucchini

What’s your favourite BBQ side?

Oven fries are a favourite here! We eat them a couple times a week and still, the family gets excited every time! This method works for a variety of vegetables. Try it with potatoes, sweet potatoes, broccoli, cauliflower, brussels sprouts, beets, carrots, cabbage, or zucchini.

My Mama’s an outstanding cook! And her Shortbread Lemon Bars are no exception.
She always made them when she visited until I finally asked her for her recipe and decided to make them myself!
These are so good and so easy. You’ll be thanking yourself again and again that you threw ‘em together!
With our recent gluten free forays, I can tell you that shortbread lends itself well to being gluten free. While I havent made these gluten free, I can give fairly confident gluten free swap suggestions. For the 2 cups of flour in the base, I would swap for 1 1/2 cups rice flour and 1/2 cup tapioca starch and the 1/4 cup of flour in the filling for 2-3 tbsp tapioca starch.
