Barley is a special boy. He's a rescue who has taken a very long time getting used to being around people. Didn't even like being touched, always afraid of human hands. I imagine he must have been abused at some point. But after a lot of love and patience, he's at a point now where he's excited to come see his pals at the park. I'll never forget the day he came up to me, unprompted, for a good scratching 😃. He was looking for some love and I felt honored he wanted it from me. Love you, my boy. ❤️🐶😘
