am reaching out to my LAZypuppy family for some help.
Sadly, Winston's owner passed away quite suddenly last week.
I need a foster/new home for him.
Winston is from the last Chiweenie litter of Mavis and Burley, the Hannah Montana litter and is 4 years old.
His owner did a phenomenal job training him; he is crate, cat, leash, car, big and little dog and kid friendly. Neutered and UTD on all shots and preventives.
Winston is a super cuddle bug, not a big barker and can be left alone while one goes to work.
Winston travels well, has no anxiety and loves me meet people.

Please reach out if you know of anyone who might be interested!!!
(I would keep him but I already have too many dogs)

Why do I do this.....

I am a nurse by profession. I wanted to work with animals, however, I quickly realized to follow my passion would leave me in the poor house. So luck and destiny led me to emergency nursing, now a passion that I never ever ever ever ever ever even remotely thought about as a career.

I rode horses, and dogs are a part of that. As my incredibly patient and understanding man and I began to have kids, I sold my horses. Having kids made me give up a little bit of me as I left riding, but I got a new me...and 3 great awesome, amazing kids.

Now that they are older, and don’t need me quite so much...I decided to reach a goal on my bucket list. To breed dogs. (originally was going to breed the best appendix horses ever, but they can’t sleep in my bed and their pregnancy is waaaay too long and I am now too impatient....and I am tired of cleaning up pooh). So I started researching and decided I like the mini doxis for many reasons (still can’t spell it). I happened to have a chihuahua so she got pulled in as well.

What I did not anticipate is the AMAZING people I would meet on this journey. My clients are amazing people! I have met amazing people who are not my clients... some who just want to chat. I have even met amazing folks (often from rescues) who are passionate in a different way, but no matter what...passion can only help the way human kind treats animals.
