Balto spotlight! 🔦

I am so proud of my boy! He absolutely nailed his air retrieve! He didn’t miss a single beat and shocked the hell out of me, grabbing the 17 foot on his first attempt!

Here is his 14’, 15’, 16’ then 17’ air retrieve!

Man, he loves this sport, which also fuels my love and passion for it as well❤️

These leashes are durable and comfy to hold and train with. They can be made into a standard lead any length or transitional leashes to be used as a slip lead or regular lead.

Our standard 6’ leashes are $30 plus tax.
Our Transitional 6’ leashes are $35 plus tax.

Excellent display of our puppy class on WEEK 2 doing sit and stay!

Little 4 month old Maltipoo Maci, 5 month old Alapaha Bulldog Ben and 15 week old Shepherd/Mal Riggs are all doing a spectacular job working on their sit and stay commands! We change up the location of all dogs and troubleshoot as we go.

Little Maci was excited that the dogs and people were getting close but redirected focus back on mom! Ben understood after only a quick redirection the same rules apply in different areas and reset beautifully. Riggs as well learned even though Ben is closer, does not mean he can break position either.

The way we teach each new behaviour is effective and the dogs do very well with building on those skills each exercise. Dog training is not one size fits all! If someone is struggling, I show the owners a new way that will work for their dog to understand and work better with one another.

We jow make our own slip leads and transitional leads!

Check out our new stock of leashes! We offer regular clip leads, or transitional leads which can be converted into an adjustable slip lead!

🐾We offer 3/8 inch sizing for our large and medium breed dogs, and 1/4 inch sizing for our small breed dogs.🐾

❗️These are sturdy and durable leashes with heavy duty clips and rings that have been tested to withstand the toughest pullers and active dogs!

Standard size is 6 feet in length, but these leashes are also fully customizable!

I love getting updates from clients!

Attenborough (Atti) and Lokah have been training with us for a few weeks now and the progress is absolutely spectacular! We started working on their walking together last lesson and look at the difference!

Little puppy Atti is no longer going after his brother Lokah bugging him on the walk. He is staying behind or next to the handler instead of zigzagging all over the place. Lokah is much happier having his space back. Everyone is having such a good time and I love seeing this progress! Especially seeing kids enjoying their dog is great to see.

We had eight new dogs start with One Paw training today and they all did fantastic! It’s great seeing progress, especially on day one and they will only continue to excel from here!

Togo has unfortunately dislocated and torn his left shoulder. We went down to the pond to do some swimming like we always do last night and he jumped very awkwardly off the bank the last time. He is on extreme bedrest for the next 3 to 4 weeks. We have a recheck in a week to see how healing is going and to move forward from there. He is on some good pain medication and anti-inflammatories and he can put a little bit of weight on it this morning, but he is definitely not a very happy boy. Unfortunately, there won’t be much action with Togo over the next little while as he heals and he will not be at training classes. I feel so bad for my boy, but he is tough and in good spirits despite the discomfort 🩵
Thank you to those who helped out and kept me sane last night throughout the process and thank you for your kind words to Togo 💜
