💛 Poppy, 13 years old, this little senior
I’ve been treating him for 3 years now.

A few years ago, he was hit by a truck and suffered a serious fracture in his left front leg 😔

Despite several surgeries, his joyful spirit got the better of him, and the healing bone fractured again.

Since then, his leg has healed, but it’s now permanently misshapen.

During this latest session, we discussed with the vet a potential support brace that could help him in daily life 🦴✨

Poppy receives regular osteo care to help manage the compensations and tensions that come with his condition.

💪Our goal :
to keep him as comfortable and mobile as possible, for as long as possible 💫

A true little warrior, full of life and love 🐾💛

A big thank for the trust 💫

✨ Twix, 13 years old, came in for his 2nd osteo session

🐕 When I first met him back in March, he was clearly in pain
❌ His back was really bothering him, and it was affecting both his posture and overall comfort 😔

But after just one session, everything changed 💛
👉 No more back pain
👉 Smoother, more comfortable movement
👉 And a much more relaxed, happy Twix 🐾

✅ That first session brought him so much relief
and now, with age in mind, we’ve set up a regular follow-up plan 🗓️

Because for our senior dogs, ongoing osteo care can make all the difference:
💫 More comfort
💫 Better mobility
💫 And a smoother, happier everyday life

They deserve to age with ease and dignity 🤍

Thank you for the trust,

Manon

Kahlua’s healing journey 🐴💛

Kahlua, a 10-yo Morgan cross, had just been bought when she got caught in a serious pasture fight 😔
A month later, she was still limping badly on her left hind hock, which was hot, swollen and painful.

➡️ I immediately suspected a fracture and recommended X-rays…
✅ Sadly, my instinct was right: there was a fracture, already starting to heal on its own.

👐 First session
I worked on reducing inflammation in the hock, supporting tissue healing,
and releasing all the compensatory tensions she had built up :
both from the injury and her past discomforts.

👐 Second session
✨ No more limping !
✨ Swelling almost gone
✨ Just a little stiffness in the hock flexion
✨ A few tension spots + mild back sensitivity

I focused again on the hock to keep boosting its recovery 💪
We’ll check in again once she’s back in work to make sure everything is moving smoothly 🙏

Proud of this brave girl 💫

🐾 Sally, 10 years old
A beautiful soul I’ve been following for 2 years now.
Her journey is one of resilience, softness… and a lot of love 💛

When I first met Sally, she was struggling to stand up. With gentle osteopathic care, we saw great improvements, and since then, I’ve been supporting her regularly to help her age with more comfort.

But lately, things got a little more complicated for this sweet girl…
🩺 She’s been dealing with heartworms and a hepato-biliary insufficiency.
Not easy for her body or her emotions.

During our session, I found:
🔸 Lots of tension in her back and pelvis
🔸 Stiffness in her abdominal fascia
🔸 Liver and kidneys with poor mobility : totally consistent with what she’s been going through

💫 And then there’s the emotional part…
Sally is deeply connected to her human. A recent change in her owner’s life caused her a lot of emotional stress, and Sally, being the sensitive girl she is, held on to that emotional weight too.

✨ With soft, respectful osteopathic work, we helped her body release, flow and breathe again.

Sending lots of love to Sally, and to all the animals who carry more than just their own stories. 🐶💛

🐕 First osteo session for sweet Blue
Blue is a 6-year-old chihuahua, and this was her very first osteopathy session.

Her human reached out because each time Blue increased her exercise, she started moving strangely
➡️ her kneecaps would turn inward, and her walk became a bit wobbly.

👐 When I saw her, her whole body was curved to the right.

❌ She had a lot of tension in her lower back, pelvis, and knees… but also in her digestive system.
As a puppy, Blue had frequent diarrhea caused by food allergies : and her body had kept some of that stress over time

✨The most touching part ?
🐾 Blue usually doesn’t like being touched by strangers (she can even nip !).
💤 But during our session, she completely relaxed : eyes closed, fully trusting me, letting go.

These are the little miracles I get to witness every day 💛

When the body feels safe… it starts to heal.

📸 Swipe to meet this tiny warrior !

👐🐴 Healing Khaos: Gently & Slowly

Khaos is a 4-year-old Quarter Horse whose owner reached out for help.
Even though the wound on his left hind pastern had closed, it remained swollen, and she was worried it hadn’t fully healed.

When I saw him move, I could tell something was still off 👉 especially in the way his fetlock moved.

❌ The wound dates back to February. He’s no longer limping, but the area was still tight and uncomfortable.
Luckily, it was clean and dry enough for me to work safely ✅

👐 I gently released tension, encouraged mobility, and showed a few techniques to help soften and support the healing process at home.
And honestly… he was amazing 💛

🤡 Even though he’s known to be a bit tricky with his hind legs, he gave me his full trust.
📸 In the last picture I felt so connected with him 🫶

I’ll see him again in a month to follow up, but I already feel he’s on the right track 🐴✨

Healing takes time, but with care, patience, and trust… so much is possible.

Swipe to meet Sweet : the gentlest little fighter 🐾✨

Sweet is a 1.5-year-old cat who was referred to me by a vet because he meowed in pain every time someone picked him up or touched his back.

Despite clear X-rays, his discomfort was very real.

When I first examined him, he was highly sensitive around the area between T3 and T5 (upper thoracic spine).
✅This region is key for mobility and comfort – it connects to the nervous system and impacts breathing and posture 🧠🫁

After a gentle session focused on releasing tension in his thorax, Sweet began to relax, soften, and trust the process.

His reactions faded, and his body told me everything I needed to know.
👐🐱

And on top of all that… he was absolutely adorable the entire time.

Such a sweet little soul, his name suits him perfectly.
❤️🐾

Thank you for your trust, Sweet.

🐾 Urgent follow-up : Abby
Some signs may come up quietly… but they always deserve our attention.

🐶 I’ve been following Abby for a couple of years now.
After a recent routine check-up, her human called me back about a month later.
⚠️ She had noticed something new : an occasional lameness in Abby’s right front leg, after resting for a while.

👐 During our follow-up session, I found a restriction in the flexion of her right elbow.
This kind of limitation can sometimes explain certain discomforts… but it’s also important not to jump to conclusions.

🩺 That’s why I suggested they return to their veterinarian for further investigation and diagnosis.
A series of X-rays was done, and nothing showed up on the images, which matched what I had found : a mobility issue, but no clear lesion or fracture.

This case is a great reminder of how essential it is to work hand in hand with veterinarians 🤝
We each bring a different perspective, and together we can support the animal more fully.

🧡 We’re now planning a more regular follow-up with Abby, to gently help her regain mobility and ease.

Because even when everything looks fine on the surface, the body still has something to say.

🫁🐴 The Diaphragm : More than just a breathing muscle

Did you know your horse’s diaphragm plays a key role in more than just breathing?

This dome-shaped muscle separates the chest and abdominal cavities, and it works like a pump :
- not only for air
- but also for posture
- digestion
- and overall comfort ✨

A healthy diaphragm supports:
✔ Fluid, unrestricted breathing
✔ Proper gut mobility (yes, it helps digestion !)
✔ A relaxed, well-balanced posture
✔ Emotional calm (it’s closely linked to the nervous system)

But sometimes, tension or restrictions in this area can affect your horse’s health in subtle but real ways.

👐 That’s where osteopathy comes in.
With gentle, hands-on techniques, I work to release any blockages and restore balance in
the diaphragm, helping your horse feel more comfortable, move more freely, and breathe
with ease again.

Here, on the pictures, I am treating Harmine, a 18 years old mare.
We helped her feel better 😌

🐴 Whether your horse is an athlete, a senior, or just not quite himself lately… this work can
make a real difference.

Curious to learn more? I’d love to share how osteopathy can support your horse’s overall
wellbeing. 🤍
