🚨 CONFESSION TIME 🚨

We’ve realized our Lucky Paws Prize Draw ticket sales might be struggling for two very important reasons…

1️⃣ Everyone’s wallet is currently being held hostage by fuel prices.
2️⃣ We somehow forgot to include fuel gift cards in the prizes. 😅

Rookie mistake? Absolutely.
Regrets? Also absolutely. 😂

BUT… if you happen to have a few “gas station dollars” left hiding in the couch cushions and feel like sharing them with some shelter dogs instead, we (and the pups) would be incredibly grateful. 🐾❤️

Every ticket sold helps keep our shelter running and directly supports the dogs in our care — food bowls filled, tails wagging, vet visits covered, warm beds ready, and second chances waiting.

Your $10 ticket may not get you cheaper fuel… but it WILL help fuel rescue, healing, safety, and future happy endings. 🐶✨

Sending the MOST gratitude 🙏 to our friends over at Reidco. Thank you Lee, for jumping at the opportunity to donate and help us with such a large job!

Reidco supplied us with a post for our yard and even installed it so that we have ample lighting for the safety and exercise of our dogs and volunteers, especially in the winter time when the sun sleeps so much! 🌞

"It's on us." Is such a simple but immeasurably generous statement. 🥹

Thank you to the Horizon School division for hosting and inviting us to the Annual Sparks Fair today.

What a wonderful opportunity to speak to the students in our community about the benefits of volunteering and to also educate them on what the Taber Lost Paws Society does for our community and how our shelter opperates.

Thank you to all the other organizations who attended and all the school faculty that make this very important student event happen.

We had such a good time, as did our doggy guests. Bowie, Lacy and Biteme quite enjoyed all the love and attention they got today!❤️🐾☺️

UPDATE 🐾 We have recieved an abundance of donations for Sammy. This means the world to both us and Samantha Anne! So thank you everyone. For always being so quick to support. 🫶

Our sweet Sammy is in desperate need of some donations! The last time we put a call out we were shocked at how many people quickly stepped up! You all provide Sammy with months worth of food that works good with her stomach! We are again, in need of this exact food for Sammy as it seems to be one of the only foods she has trialed that sits well. For now, until we can find her a home where they can really focus closely on her diet!

This food can be found at Costco! If you would like to donate, donations can be dropped off at our shelter or in the donation bin located inside of Taber Pet Valu! 🙏
