Sweet Quill came in for his very first groom today. 💙

Quill was recently rescued after being found as a stray with porcupine quills stuck in his face — which is how he got his name. The community had been trying hard to catch him, and thankfully one wonderful couple was finally able to safely secure him, get him the help he needed, and give him the loving home he deserves.

As expected, Quill was very nervous today, but he did absolutely amazing. He found comfort by leaning his body against me or wrapping his neck around me to feel safe. I took everything nice and slow to make sure his first grooming experience was as positive and comforting as possible.

I’m so proud of this sweet boy and how far he’s already come. 🐾

Sweet Molly came for her first groom for her 1st birthday! Little birthday spaw day🥹❤️ first grooms we go slow and let them take everything in at the pace they are comfortable with to make it a positive experience.
