What a great time Team Staples & Team Artemis had at the Chart Stables Hickstead International Dressage Festival last week.

Simba competed in only his second Advanced Medium and first ever music class to finish 6th in the Masters ❤️

Odaylia exceeded all expectations to finish 2nd in the Elementary Masters ❤️

WINNER of the Novice Masters sponsored by CW Events LTD was Olivia on the incredible Teddy ❤️

So proud of Kathy, Olivia and all the horses with some fantastic results in hotly contested classes-super excited for the future and these pairings ❤️

🌟THIS WEEKS CASE STUDY🌟

Rehab can be incredibly hard but what a difference a few months and a solid support team makes. Young eventer Rosie sustained a severe bony injury and bruise to her right fore medial splint bone and cannon bone earlier this year. After 12 weeks box rest, weekly Class IV laser therapy and Osphos, we received this video of her enjoying her next phase of rehab involving knee high Dr Green ❤️ It’s moments like these that make this job so worthwhile.

⭐️ WELCOME TO THE TEAM KATIE ⭐️

We are so happy to have a fabulous new vet joining us here at Team Artemis. She has loved meeting some of you since she started and she will soon become a familiar face both at the clinic and out on the road.

Katie graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in 2024. Following graduation, she moved to New Zealand to complete a rotating internship at a high-volume equine hospital in the North Island, where she remained as a junior ambulatory vet, gaining invaluable experience during the intensive Thoroughbred racing and breeding season.

Prior to her veterinary studies, Katie completed a Masters of Research focusing on the genetics of equine neuromuscular disease. Having worked with horses in various capacities across the globe, she returns to the UK with a refined clinical interest in poor performance, lameness, diagnostic imaging and surgery.

Katie is dedicated to delivering clinical excellence and highly personalised care for every patient. She find great fulfilment in supporting horses through their recovery and helping them return to their peak performance and well-being.

Outside of work, Katie continues to spend time with horses and can usually be found at the yard with her three horses – George, Diaz, and Benny. When she isn’t in the saddle she enjoys hiking with her retired greyhound, Mitzy, and exploring the outdoors.
