This is a groom I'm not happy with. Luckily, Clementine is my cat and I can use her groom as a lesson learned. I also forgot a before photo!

I've learned that she needs more frequent grooming, and a degreasing and exfoliating treatment in her next groom. She is such a greasy girl, that even with four shampoos and a vigorous scrub I could not get the grease out of her coat. I kept finding clogged pores while blowdrying!

I'm going to give her some time and get her back on a maintenance schedule. Stay tuned for another installment of my greaseball saga!

Sweet Noonoo dropping by last evening for a bath and spot shave to remove some mats on her rear. As she was 17 (Which she doesn't look at all!) I didn't want to stress her out with a full shave down. PPCG's first heterochromatic visitor! 💜🐾

This handsome man did so well with a bath and blowdry. As red cats tend to more greasy than others, he spent some extra time in the bath.💜🐾

This beautiful seal point is named Sawyer. Sawyer gets spicy when her rear is touched, but loves it when I comb out her mane.

Sawyer had some matting that required her to be shaved down in a lion cut. I left her tail full as opposed to the usual pom pom because she had such a lovely coat.💜🐾
