The reality of what happens when your pets hang out at Pet Vet for the day 😂❤️

Although Dr. Bargen wasn’t performing Nova’s ovariohysterectomy (spay) yesterday, she couldn’t resist spending some quality time with this wonderfully mannered gal between her own appointments.

True to her “girls’ girl” nature, Nova the Irish Wolfhound X soaked up all the love — and even joined in for some classic Dr. Bargen selfies 🤪📸

Her Chevrolet SS tag also caught Dr. Bargen’s eye, which is a perfect nod to her name’s dual meaning: the celestial theme chosen by the family’s girls, and Dad’s passion for classic cars! 🚗✨

The whole Pet Vet team is wishing Nova a smooth and speedy recovery!

📆 We are CLOSED today for the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.

Also known as Orange Shirt Day, this day was inspired by the story of Phyllis Webstad, a residential school survivor whose orange shirt was taken from her on her first day at school. That orange shirt has become a symbol of the culture, identity, and dignity taken from Indigenous children through Canada’s residential school system.

🧡 Today, we honour and remember the survivors, their families, and the children who never came home.

We will reopen tomorrow at 8:00 AM and look forward to serving you and your pets then.
