Buddy spent a long time here at waterworks rescue.
We wanted to wait to update y'all to ensure he's a good fit for... His new home!
Buddy's been placed in a foster to adopt home!
It's been such a long journey for Buddy, in June he moved to a new home but did not like his potential brother.. this time he seems to be loving his new cat brother and everyone else in the house!
We want to thank everyone whos shared buddy's story and donated to him during his stay. 💕

I would like to say thank you to everyone that has been donating to the rescue, no matter how big or small the donations are they are all very much appreciated. Thanks to you we can continue to get the rabbits in our care the vet care they need.

We have a ton of spay and neuter’s we are planning and in the process of booking, plus other appointments as well. If you can help even a little it would mean so much. We have some fundraisers we are planning and will share with you when the time is right.

Our 2025 goal;
Our goal from the beginning has been to help owners and animals in crisis. We believe in reunification and homelessness prevention, and that every owner deserves the chance to keep their pet despite life altering situations.
This year our goals and beliefs will not be shifting.
To start off this year- we will not be taking on any rehabilitation cases due to funds.
We want to thank everyone who's helped Angie over the course of 2024- and those who have donated and made it possible to take in animals in need like Fuzz Butt.

Thankfully Angie's surgery today was uneventful! Her polyp is removed and her prognosis is great.
We were able to raise just about 90$ of today's $ 244 bill.

Hey everyone, we have one last post about Angies ongoing medical care!!
Angie is a senior cat we took in, in April, with a severe mite infestation and an inner ear infection. After 4 vet visits and reoccurring ear infection. On the 4th we discovered the underlying issue..
Angie has an over active oil gland in her ear and a polyp in her ear needing removal.
She has her surgery tomorrow, December 10th.
Her last few vet visits have drained our rescue funds and were hoping to seek out a few $20 donations to help with the procedure, either directly to her vets office or e transfered to our company email @ [email protected]

They quoted us $200 for the sedation and procedure.

Hey there everyone!
We've finally got the answers were looking for & have a procedure date for Angie!
Angie has a polyp and an overactive ear gland both in need of removal.
We've been quoted $ 200 to do so.

Angie had a consultation with another vet yesterday, in 2 weeks we will have another appointment to discuss treatment options for her ongoing ear infection.

Unfortunately we have to temporarily close our doors for intake. We have no where to put any more rabbits. This means until we find more foster homes we can’t take in anymore rabbits. It’s hard saying “sorry we can’t help you” when people reach out for help and not jumping into action to save stray and abandoned rabbits is the hardest part. But many of the shelters are now saying no as well. Please still contact us about stray and abandoned rabbits and we will help them as soon as we can.

Please if you can foster fill out the application on our website! You will be helping us continue to rescue and save rabbits lives. We can’t stress enough about how urgently we need more foster homes. Rabbits are being abandoned every where and we are heart broken that we can’t help them at this time. You have the power to change that, you can help save rabbits lives.

Thank you to all our amazing fosters! If it wasn’t for you we wouldn’t have saved so many rabbits this year! We really appreciate everything you do for them and all the love you show them. ❤️

Sunday morning we took in just about 80 albino bristle nose plecos.

Long time no update.. we're happy to announce our two newest residents
Cali! A foster form Sweetie's Rescue
And Mr. Fuzz Butt, from a temporary care situation.
The two are settling in wonderfully!
