The animal food industry teaches us from a young age to draw a line between which animals we kill and eat, and which animals we love and welcome into our homes. It’s partly connected to our susceptibility to discriminate against other humans and is often our first subconscious lesson at stifling or compartmentalizing our compassion.

Ironically, animals don’t discriminate against each other or us. They don’t treat us differently because of our colour, gender, sexual orientation, race, religion, ability or what age we are - they simply love us unconditionally. And not just our domesticated fur family - ALL animals, including farmed animals, love like this.

So the line we draw with animals really comes down to how we’re conditioned from a young age, through highly sophisticated advertising (and propaganda)…but we can choose compassion instead.

We are equal, all animals are too 🥰
