Duke Of El, affectionately known as Eldorado is informally learning his manners for Halter class.

He is so dang cute, and has a nice floaty jog on him.

He is also growing faster than a bean stalk.

I love all my donkeys, but he has an extra special little place in my heart. The jacks have a different way about them. I miss George. And Eldorado helps fill that void. And he is hitting all his markers to be allowed to breed the ladies. I will be proud to make some babies with him when he is ready!

Two year old Duke of El is finally growing into his legs.

He will hopefully be the herd sire for my ladies. So far his personality is perfect for it. He is gentle and kind and quick to learn. We are just waiting on him to fully show his conformation so we can see what he might pass on. He went through a very gangly stage and it didn’t seem like those legs would ever untangle😂

We call him Eldorado. And he is a gem.
