New client today…little guy sure was happy after his long overdue trim~got a report this afternoon that he’s been running & prancing around in his pasture since I left! 😊❤️

This guy had a whole team on his side today~vet came to do some X-rays as he’s just had another laminitic episode & has been pretty sore. At least with imaging done, now we know what we’re dealing with…poor boy ❤️‍🩹

These 2 girls wanted NO part of getting their feet done this morning! It took about 25 mins to catch them (which is unusual) & once they were haltered, they were the best behaved girls for their trims! Everyone has an off day I guess…silly girls 😄

Transitioning a horse from shod to barefoot today at the owner’s request~he stood perfectly still & let me pull the shoes (without the proper tools)…I think he was happy to have them off 😊

Ventured out into the rain this morning to the Norfolk County Fair to watch some of my clients & their horses in action~they came from London & St Thomas areas to be here, so I wanted to go & support them…everyone did great! Was fun to watch despite the miserable weather…way to go ladies & horses! 😁❤️

Their mom had to work, so I went out to get these 2 boys & bring them in for their trim~one mention of their name & they headed right over to me to be haltered. Well, one is deaf, so he doesn’t hear his name, he just follows his buddy Hogan’s lead…they stood perfectly still for their pedicures & I turned them back out before I left (not really part of the job description but I honestly don’t mind at all)…if only every stop was this easy, love these boys 😊

I keep telling myself I’m going to do a “horse of the month” on my page to showcase some of the horses I have the privilege of working with. Soooo without further ado, this is Stella! Although she doesn’t look it in this photo, she is a big beast of a mare, a percheron to be exact…but very gentle & kind 💕 She’s one of the lucky ones that was saved from a meat truck & now lives on a beautiful piece of property with her other horse friends as well as some goats, cattle & a couple dogs
