Only ONE MONTH left to apply for Early Bird Registration if you are interested in being a Vendor at our First Annual Sask Pet-a-Palooza next June! IF we have space remaining after our Early Bird Registration is done we will open regular registration in January.

We have received some amazing applications already and are excited to go through them all. We will be doing our best to make sure we do not have a lot of duplicate businesses and to offer variety. We want this event to be a success for both our Vendors and Attendees!

If you are a pet-related business in Saskatchewan, we are looking for you to be a part of our 1st annual Sask Pet-a-Palooza in Saskatoon on June 13, 2026!

This will be a 100% pet focused and pet friendly event that includes a market with vendors, a demonstration area, photobooth, activities for visitors and their pets, a BBQ, rescues with adoptable pets, and more!

Vendors will be accepted through applications to help us make sure our event is 100% pet focused for our visitors. While we do have lots of openings for vendors, they are still limited, and we want to make sure we have an even amount of all the different types of businesses.

Applications open on September 15th! Check out our website for the link to the form starting on that day.

Introducing one of the most exciting parts of Pet-a-Palooza.... The Demonstration Area!

Are you a service based business without physical items to sell at the market?

Are you part of a club looking to reach new members?

Are you looking to attend an event where not only can you support local makers but also receive pet-related education?

Are you not sure you want to be a vendor, but would love the chance to advertise your business?

This is why we created The Demonstration Area! This space can be booked by vendors and non-vendors for the opportunity to present your services to our visitors. We envision dog trainers, rescues, dog sport clubs, groomers, kennel clubs, veterinarians, dog walkers and pet sitters, and more to utilize this space to advertise and/or demonstrate services they offer.

Watch for our Vendor Application Form, applications for vendors and for the Demonstration Area will open on September 15th!

Announcing the location for the 1st annual Pet-a-Palooza on June 13th, 2026!

We have chosen the Sutherland Curling Club as the location of our 2026 event! We are excited for the space this location will give us for our first event, the amount of free parking, and outside space for food options, and the venue being pet-friendly for our event!

We can't wait to welcome all our vendors and visitors!

Meet Your Event Hosts: Part Two

Lianne Matieshin

Lianne has been around animals her entire life! She grew up on a farm that had cattle, chickens, pigs, dogs and cats. She has worked in the pet industry for 20 years. Her first job was at a dog boarding facility, she was a registered veterinary technician for 10 years, and has run her photography business that specializes in pet photography for over 10 years. She loves training and competing with her dogs in many sports, currently focusing on barn hunt, scent detection, disc, and dock diving and has also played flyball and agility. She currently has a 9 year old Border Collie named Drift, a 4 year old black Labrador Retriever named June, and an 8 year old cat named Hazel.

Lianne loves the pet community here in Saskatchewan and believes in supporting all of the amazing local businesses we have in our province. Lianne regularly donates her time and photography skills to many rescues in Saskatoon, donating raffle and silent auction items for many different causes, and provides the images for the Saskatoon Police Service K9 calendar fundraiser for the past 4 years.

Lianne wishes to recognize all of the amazing pet businesses we have in our area by providing them with an amazing event that they deserve to have! She’s so excited to be a part of Sask Pet-a-Palooza and creating an amazing event with Paige from SaskPets!

Meet Your Event Hosts: Part One

Paige Kowal

Paige has loved animals for as long as she can remember and has been passionate about working with them since she was able to. She currently has 2 dogs that she adopted from rescues within Saskatoon. Lily is around 9 and Bindi is 8, both are mix breeds.

Paige has worked in a variety of areas in the pet industry and has gained a lot of experience and knowledge. She owned and operated her own Dog Training business for 10 years, worked as a Pet Sitter, Dog Walker, Dog Daycare Attendant, Boarding Kennel Attendant and worked in a Pet Health Store. She has also volunteered with different rescue organizations in Saskatoon as well as a large Animal Sanctuary in Utah called Best Friends. Throughout her experience she has gained a lot of knowledge about many different types of pets as well as the different types of pet businesses and organizations we have in our province. She has learned about the many things that we are doing well, things we could add or improve on and ways to help out in our communities.

With this knowledge she created Saskatchewan's Pet Community, SaskPets, and knew she wanted to do so many different things within this community including building a Directory of as many pet-related businesses located in SK as she could find and make it available to everyone. She wanted to create handmade, unique, quality products for pets and their people, share helpful and fun information about pets and eventually host fun pet-centered events to bring the community together in person. She knew she couldn't do it on her own so when she connected with Lianne, owner of Lianne Matieshin Photography, and found out they shared a common passion the Sask Pet-a-Palooza was formed!
