Although I have been working hard at making new blankets, the last few I have made have been custom orders.

This beautiful blanket was a gift for my aunt and uncle in Bermuda. Although I was skeptical they would have a need for such a thing, my aunt assured me that in the winter it gets cool, like +18 degrees Celsius.

Regardless - I hope they enjoy it!

When I made these blankets, I pictured them in a bedroom shared by twins. Each is shades of grey with white accents.

Ying & Yang are both made to fit a twin sized bed, although both are adequate for a queen sized bed. They would be a very large blanket to utilize as a throw, but could work if you plan to share and cuddle up with others. The blankets are made with single crochet and seed stitch, which has some holes in it. This allows for air flow and makes the blanket suitable for small children as it allows them to breathe if it were to cover their face. Each blanket is $169.00 or $300.00 for both.

This blanket is another basketweave blanket. The color is called beach foam and it is a light creamy color.

The basketweave adds additional weight to the blanket and some have even found it can be a good substitute for a weighted blanket.

It is perfect for a cozy evening reading a book and snuggling under a blanket.

Blanket prices are dependent upon the size of the blanket. The larger the blanket, the more yarn is needed. Some patterns also require more yarn than others, making the price higher.

I price my blankets based on the cost of the yarn. Although some blankets take more time than others, this is not usually a factor in my pricing strategy. My goal is to recoup my costs.

I use plush yarn for my blankets that cost as much as $15.99 plus tax per skein. Blankets can take 10-15 skeins, depending upon the size of the blanket!
