Who’s got a puppy that needs some friends?!😍

Watch this perfect example of dogs matching play styles! Charlie and Gizmo are engaged in rough-and-tumble play, using mouth wrestling, body slams, and chase sequences to keep each other engaged. They instinctively take turns being the ‘chaser’ and the ‘chased,’ keeping the game fair and fun. You’ll notice their loose, wiggly bodies, open mouths, and self-handicapping behaviors—like Charlie going easy on little Gizmo—all signs of healthy play!

Daisy, on the other hand, enjoys the excitement but isn’t as committed to the full-contact action. She dashes in for a few playful nibbles before recognizing when it’s too much, retreating to her friend Cyrus for a break. This is a great example of a dog managing their own social comfort level. Meanwhile, Cyrus plays the role of the observer, enjoying the energy without feeling the need to join in—also completely normal dog behavior!

This video is a perfect example of how dogs communicate during play, regulate each other’s energy, and respect personal space. Understanding these signals helps prevent misunderstandings and ensures every pup has a good time!
