Do we spend a fortune at the vets?… Maybe.

But the payoff is having healthy and happy parents and kittens.

Breeding isn’t without its difficulties sometimes but the payoff is knowing that we are providing families with pets that are genetically healthy, emotionally happy, and well socialized.

All of our pets are typically fixed prior to placement - with the exception of two who were too tiny to fix. They were given contracts and respectable families.

We will be doing another stud service shortly and have been working diligently to prevent issues as always.

Breeding is for the love of the cat and as a Preservation breeder of Canadian Sphynx - I take this seriously and hold our animals in high regard.

Properly vetted and cared for, loved and cherished is our responsibility. I love our animals.

Our girls today are getting 2 week injections of convenia which is an antibiotic to reduce or eliminate any potential underlying issues prior to conception.

This isn’t done every time but we feel it’s important on this round of kittens.

Today we celebrate four beautiful, transformative years of Bambi — a cat who has known more than her fair share of darkness, but who now lives in the light. From the moment she came into our lives, she brought with her not only her quiet strength, but a powerful reminder of what love, patience, and second chances can do. 💖

Bambi wasn’t born into safety or comfort. She came to us as a rescue — a little soul worn thin from the world, with a history that still echoes in the gentleness of her steps and the wisdom in her eyes. Now Hiring: Sphynx Cat Grooming Assistant
(Twice a Month - Contract Position)
Location: Sarnia, ON
Business: Sphynx of Sarnia

We’re looking for a reliable, patient, and cat-loving individual to join us at Sphynx of Sarnia for a unique and rewarding contract role!

Job Details:
Come into our home twice a month to assist with:
• Bathing sphynx cats and kittens using our Mr. Wrinkles cleansers
• Nail trimming
• Ear cleaning (if needed)

Requirements:
• A genuine love for animals, especially cats
• Patience and care when handling cats (scratches are a possibility, even with trained cats)
• Willingness to learn (experience not required — we’ll train the right person!)
• Reliable and comfortable working in a home setting

Time Commitment:
Each bath session takes approx. 10 minutes per cat/kitten

Bonus:
This is a long-term contract with opportunities to grow into other roles such as:
• Kitten babysitting
• Bottle feeding
• Cleaning duties within the cattery
