Bonjour à tous,
C’est un honneur d’annoncer que Circulus Agtech obtient le soutien du gouvernement du Québec, via le programme d’Innovation Volet 1, géré par Investissement Québec, pour un projet de 452 000$ permettant la commercialisation d’un procédé de production de fertilisant organique de précision. Nous travaillerons avec Hydroserre Mirabel et le Laboratoire sur l'agriculture urbaine, pour déployer une projet pilote permettant d’inclure le fumier de poisson de piscicultures locales au sein du plan de fertilisation de cultures hydroponiques, favorisant une économie circulaire versus l’utilisation de fertilisants synthétiques, améliorant l’impact environnemental et la performance de notre système alimentaire.

Hello everyone!
It is an honor to announce that Circulus Agtech has obtained the support of the Québec government through the Programme innovation Volet 1, managed by Investissement Québec, for a 452,000 $ project to allow the commercialization of a precision organic fertilizer production process. We will work with Hydroserre Mirabel and the Laboratoire sur l'agriculture urbaine, to deploy a pilot project to include fish manure from local fish farms within commercial hydroponic fertilization plans, promoting a circular economy over the use of synthetic fertilizers, improving the environmental impact and performance of our food system.

This year, David Leroux and Neelay Patel were so fortunate to receive funding from the Macdonald Student Experience Enhancement Fund (SEEF) to support our business, Cannafish. The SEEF allowed us to better develop our nutrient solution brewing methodologies and perform microbial analysis on our product, making sure our manure extracts and compost teas don’t contain and/or propagate pathogens such as E. Coli and Salmonella, which is a key factor in ensuring safety of our process for commercial adoption in hydroponic cultures.
