*SAFE with another rescue*
🚨 FOSTER NEEDED TO SAVE SCOOBY DOO 🚨
Scooby Doo is the kind of dog that makes people fall in love with Great Danes.
Gentle. Affectionate. Calm. Loyal. A giant sweetheart who just wants to be close to his people.
Scooby Doo is a 2-year-old neutered Great Dane who is vaccinated, dog-friendly, cooperative with handling, and known to be incredibly loving. He lived successfully with two other large dogs, enjoys companionship, knows basic commands, and has a moderate to low energy level. Underneath everything, he truly is a wonderful dog and an incredibly deserving companion.
What Scooby needs most is stability.
He struggles with separation anxiety and will need a foster home where someone is home most of the time while he learns that being alone is okay. He will need patience and consistency as he works on becoming comfortable either crated or left loose in the home for short periods. This is something that CAN improve tremendously with time, routine, and support.
The reality is that large dogs who need a little extra support are often overlooked — not because they aren’t amazing dogs, but because people are intimidated by the commitment. But fostering a dog like Scooby is the kind of experience that changes you. Watching a dog slowly relax, trust, learn, and blossom because of the safety YOU provided is something truly special.
Scooby needs someone who loves big dogs, enjoys training, and understands that the best companions are often the ones who simply needed someone to believe in them.
As a foster, you won’t be doing this alone. Our rescue covers all supplies and medical expenses, and our team will support you every step of the way with resources, training guidance, and ongoing help.
You provide the safe place.
We provide the village. 🖤
