I could write a novel on my love for Toopy! He has been through alot the last few years, and his age is starting to show. After loosing his brother and sister, our salon time felt quite somber. We both missed the happy chaos that Charlie and Chloe brought to our salon expierence...

Clover has recently joined the family and Toopy is adjusting well to life with his new and rambunctious sister. Clover keeps our salon time entertaining with all her beagle theatrics and tendencies. And Toopy is very happy that he gets to enjoy his mid-groom power nap once again!

Happy International Cat Day 🐈

Cat grooming is not an easy task ⚠️
I do enjoy working with cats but I simply dont have the extra hands to help, or time to offer cat grooming within my regular business hours.

If this event is well received I hope to offer monthly drop in cat grooming clinics. I have an expierenced volunteer willing to help me and I can guarentee a safe and quiet work space for all cat's who attend.
I know many in Ridgetown and surrounding communities are struggling to find hygene maintenance for their cats - I want to help, and at this time this is the best I can offer ❀️

If the community takes the time to show up and support this endeavor, we will do the same!

This can be an amazing opportunity for local cat owners to source regular professional grooming care for their pets. And for a local rescue to generate monthly funds without having to offset costs and time consumption that organizing a monthly fundraiser would typically take.
(I am simply offering my space and talent and will not be profiting)

I was a little too excited to get to work with Luna!
She was a near perfect blank canvas for a complete transformation... I couldn't wait to work my magic and see the final results πŸͺ„

Luna was shy and lacked confidence in the salon, but I could tell by her impeccable salon manners and gentle personality that she was comfortable and familiar with the grooming process. I spent extra time to help Luna build confidence in a new routine, to adjust to a new environment, and to establish a positive working relationship between us.

Luna is a dream to work with and I cannot wait to see her confidence bloom and to teach her how to enjoy and love the process, rather than simply tolerating it πŸ’›

πŸ–₯ My business website and services have been updated and simplified to be more user friendly πŸ€— Base prices are now listed in each service description to serve as a quote of service costs. Offering a one on one custom grooming routine has alot of variables based on meeting every pet's needs. Prices are all inclusive - I do not upsell products/services. Every pet receives high quality products and custom grooming in a low stress environment. Prices may be adjusted at checkout, and for future services.

πŸ“… In the near future I am hoping to expand my schedule to add in a few extra hours to better acomodate new and existing clientele.
I will make a post of my new hours once they are available.

*** FYI ***
-The ONLY way to book an appointment is self serve online through square booking .
Any inquires sent to this page, or calls/text to #226-626-6871 will not be responded to.

-My online Schedule is only visible 2 weeks in advance of the current date. If there are no appointments available online, I'm fully booked for 14 days - not indefinitely. Sometimes, a little patience and frequent schedule checks are necessary to find an opening.

-After any online booking is complete you should *immediately* receive a text/e-mail for confirmation of your pets "pending" appointment. (If you do not receive any communications from Square after booking, your reservation was not properly completed and does not exist)

I am always willing to accomodate new clients when I have the time! If you are needing a regular groomer please be proactive and plan ahead to ensure you can find an online reservation.
If you keep looking and cannot find a grooming appointment that works with your schedule - You can alternatively book a "Consult".
This is a great opportuinty to come with your pet for a meet and greet, to receive a quote, or to ensure booking a future appointment.

Just a friendly reminder that I am open but not active on this page often, my time is spent in the salon doing what I love, and with my family ❀️
If you are looking for an appointment my online booking is convenient and available to anyone any time.
*This is the ONLY way to book services with me*

I am extremely busy at the salon and in my personal life. My prices and schedule are set according to service times. I simply don't have time to answer inquiries or input client profiles when I am at work. At the end of my work day, I want to go home to spend time with my family. When I leave the salon I leave my work there.

There are many avenues in which I am contacted for appointments, here are the most common:
-Text messages
-Calls
-Facebook messenger
-Notes left in my salon door
-Notes left on my car windshield
-Notes left at my personal residence
-Showing up to at salon while I am working

-Showing up at the salon to book an appointment when I am working disrupts my day and is a safety concern for pets in my care.

-Leaving me notes or voicemails and filling up my inboxes makes me cry, it's crippling. If you want to know why I will foreward you to my psychologist.

-Calling 2-7 times a day will not make me answer my phone. (My voicemail explains it is not monitored and the only way to book is through square).

Not wanting to book online is perfectly fine. But, expecting me to change my business operations is not. I often get told "I don't do technology" or "It wanted my credit card I was scared". That is a personal problem, not mine. I don't favor technology either, but I use it because I need to. If you want an intimate or in person booking experience find someone who can offer that.

I am only one person, I have tried to accommodate every request from many different avenues, and every single time I FAIL. And when I fail my reputation becomes - "She doesn't answer her phone" or "good luck getting ahold of her".
I have been burnt out many times, and I've almost forfeited my career over communications that I couldn't manage. I know it may sound bizarre that a business owner refuses to answer a message or a phone call, I get it, I am bizarre... I cannot be available 24/7 and I don't have the time to micro manage clientele. I pay for my square services and it is much cheaper than the time it takes to book everyone myself. I save an average of 10 working hours per month by offering online self serve booking. It helps to keep my operating costs lower and to keep a manageable, healthy work/life balance.

I value and appreciate every single client I have, and I work very hard to provide the best care and experience to everyone and their pets. Square is the one and only way for me to successfully and efficiently manage my business - I don't know how else to communicate this.

Most of the time, Newman comes in as a blank canvas and I am left with creative freedom to do whatever I want! I've been grooming this boy since he was a puppy and he is an absolute pleasure to work with πŸ˜‡ Today I did a full body hand scissor to even out his coat regrowth but keep his length - his regrowth length is almost 1 inch. I gave him mock poodle feet (short scissor blended feet) and a very short beard. This style will grow out beautifully on Newman and is practical for mud/snow/winter!

Pumba has been coming to me since he was a baby Warthog! He has some dermatological issues that are persistent year round.
Keeping Pumba on a bi-weekly schedule for grooming has proven to eliminate most of these issues from flaring up and to keep his hygene spectacular !!

Tuco is such a well behaved boy for his nail trims!

When Tuco was adopted into his forever home he had zero previous grooming expierence and overgrown painful nails!

I have been grooming Tuco monthly for 6+ years! Over this time, Tuco has gained confidence in the salon and we have built a trusting relationship that allows Tuco to be restraint free for his entire groom ❀️
